Chapter 11: Acceptance
"What a beautiful body. It looks untouched, even the shape is perfect," Dong Huiqing admired, leering at her.
The other three men with him also looked at her lasciviously, forcing her to exert extra effort to cover herself with her hands.
"Stop this, what you're doing is wrong!" she protested, trying to reason with these lewd men.
"If you don't let me do it, I'll kill your son right in front of you," Dong Huiqing threatened. This deeply shocked her; she couldn't bear the thought of losing her son.
"P-Please don't kill him!," she begged desperately, tearing up at the mere thought that they might really kill her son.
Dong Huiqing smiled widely as he watched her break down into tears, relishing the power he felt in dominating such a woman.
"Will you do anything?" he asked, his eyes filled with lust.
She recoiled in horror, her body trembling as she stared back at him with a mixture of fear and disgust.
But she had no choice; crippled and unable to fight back, she felt utterly powerless against them.
"If you promise not to do anything to him... Then I … " she replied in a defeated tone, her eyes welling up with tears because she already knew what would happen to her.

"Mother, where are you? Mother?" Fang Xuan shouted, his worry growing with each passing moment.
He had waited for her at home, but when she didn't return, he decided to search the forest near their house.
It was getting late, and she would usually be cooking his dinner by now.
As he moved through the dark forest with only a small lamp to light the way, Fang Xuan's heart started to beat faster.
His mother had always warned him about going out at night because it was dangerous.

'Ouch,' he tripped and stumbled over something.

"No, no, this can't be happening," he muttered in disbelief, his heart racing as he stared at his mother's bloodied body on the ground.
