=================

When reading this novel, keep in mind that I will not provide an immediate explanation of how the main character is able to do what he does or why he does it. Think of this novel like a cartographer riding a boat trying to map a country. The details will be revealed gradually, one by one.

For the foreseeable future, the story will increasingly incorporate scientific ideas. As a result, it may become chaotic because, by the time I translate these ideas into a story, I may not have sufficient knowledge on certain topics. It might become much more chaotic and challenging to read, as I will be more focused on Quantum Science, including Physics, Biology, and Psychology. In short, this story will be similar to Past Life Returner in terms of its economic side.

This is not a Witcher fan fiction per se, but a story that only initially features elements from The Witcher. The way I write this story is different from classic novels where the writing is completed and then edited before publishing. No, this novel is a serialized series where even I don't know where it will take me. Because of that, some tags, descriptions, or words might be overhauled and constantly changed. Making this is a reading journey for you just as much as it is a journey for me as the writer.

As for why I kept the Witcher title, it's because I want to tell a story where the grey areas are more prominent, and there are no clear right or wrong answers. Additionally, the title serves to attract an initial audience who will engage with the novel first and provide feedback. This feedback is crucial for improving my writing intuition, so that for subsequent novels, I can write a better book. However, if this novel enters the leaderboard, I will remove the Witcher title, as the initial motivation for using it has already been achieved.

In this story, the dark tag means it's genuinely dark, and the harem tag means it's like the old-school harem, where women are objectified.

Me: "His harem is his army."

Stupid: "Gross."

Reply:

"Lol. Hypocrites."

My thoughts:

For those wondering why I said his harem is his army, it's because I want the MC to have some logical reasoning when deciding whom he should love or consider a beloved. Because of that, the MC doesn't want just a doll sitting in the back seat while he fights his enemies and can only cheer him on. However, since I made the MC a good-natured and morally aligned character, he won't do anything twisted or send his beloveds to their deaths.

To him, doing twisted things is just a shallow way of being 'bad' because some people think it looks cool to be a villain or a devil. But he's also not afraid to do truly heinous things when it comes to serious matters. And by heinous, I mean truly horrendous acts, with the only limit being not harming innocent lives. For example, spoilers include changing someone's sexual orientation or making them eat their literal excrement while altering their mind to enjoy it. However, because such actions are not in his nature and feelings of revenge or domination over others are only temporary to him, the MC doesn't fall into the path of a devil who is driven solely by impulses.

And that's why, dear reader, the MC said his harem will be his army. To him, lust is just a temporary side dish he can enjoy from time to time, but it's not his sole motivation to constantly pursue that desire. He wants something better for his harem than for them to be just his toys. As for what that 'something better' is, you'll find out in about a hundred chapters or so. Likewise, I also want to see where the journey takes me as I write it, since this is a serialized novel that is a work in progress.

Review:

"Untagged harem so obviously it's trash."

My reply:

"For anyone reading this: This is an example of hypocrites who enjoy reading this kind of junk in web novels but have the gall to hold themselves to high moral standards. If you are one of these hypocrites and leave a review after this one, I will delete it, as the opinions of such hypocrites have already given me the message."

"For those wondering what happens 100 chapters or more into the story, the MC tells all of his harem members that they are his toys. So, these hypocrites haven't fully read the novel yet. Secondly, tagging the story as 'harem' would give readers the impression that the MC loves all the girls, which is why I don't want to include it. If they die, they die. Once again, these hypocrites haven't fully read the novel. As for potential readers, I've already written over 140 chapters without asking for anything, and I've been writing four chapters a day just because I enjoy it. So, these hypocrites are giving opinions based on baseless conjecture. I hope future readers of this comment understand my point of view on why I haven't added the harem tag."

"But... after calming myself down and thinking it through more thoroughly, this hypocrite word gives me an idea that some of you, the readers, might have the wrong impression that I didn't put a harem tag for reasons other than my motivation to show that the MC sees the harem as his objects, who he can do whatever he wants with. However, because he is not twisted, unlike this hypocrites here who want twisted things to happen, MC treats them only as his friends and lovers and does not act inappropriately towards them. But, since that is the truth, when it comes to the harem, he always reminds them that they are his toys, to begin with. From my perspective at that time, I thought you, the reader, would see that this untagged harem story with tragedy, dark, and R18 tags would give you an idea of where I was going with it. Apparently, I was wrong since this person is a perfect example of a dimwitted reader who doesn't understand that serialized novels on Webnovel are not complete novels; in other words, they are works in progress. Because, by the first twenty chapters, when I was writing this novel, I didn't know I would be adding tragedy and dark tags, and by chapters twenty to one hundred, I also didn't know that this novel was not a Witcher fanfic, per se. And finally, now, my previous motivation for not giving it a harem tag is misunderstood as not wanting to see the harem as personal playthings. If you read after a hundred chapters, the MC repeatedly tells all of his lovers that they are his toys, to begin with, and he can do whatever he wants. That's why I hope other readers understand that this ride is as much of a journey for me as it is for you guys."

My Thoughts:

You can leave reviews like this one, but please think it through before posting. It just shows how much this specific person is following their emotions and falls into the category of someone who yaps first before their logical mind kicks in. If you only read a small number of chapters, it's okay to drop the novel if you don't like it. But please, once again, don't be like this person who didn't fully read the novel but already jumped to conclusions, as one of his comments below shows.

If you want to leave a review and share what you don't like about the story, please mention the chapters where you left off so that future readers can better understand your perspective. This will also help me understand where you had issues, allowing me to improve the novel as much as my writing skills allow. Because once again, gentlemen, this journey is as much a writing journey for me as it is for you reading it.

P.S. That's why, for the foreseeable future, until this novel is completed, I will go back and edit earlier chapters to ensure congruency with the later ones.

"He means it's a harem but he doesn't want to lose potential readers who don't like reading mediocre af softcore porn where women are completely objectified. Harem without a harem tag should be taken down until it's tagged correctly imo but this site has no moderation aside from making sure no one says fuck in their comment. Fucking degenerates ruin everything."

Thoughts:

First, I want to provide a bit of background about my readership data at the time I'm writing these thoughts. Spoilers, there aren't many readers, and interest slowly declined even before the softcore content was introduced in these novels.

Initial Data: Initial readers.

Second Data: Potential readers who do not like adult content or possibly dark themes have already left.

Third Data: Peak readership occurred after I posted twenty chapters of adult content and tagged it as R18, which further reduced the pool of potential readers who do not like dark themes or adult content, as shown in the second data point.

Fourth Data: As of 28/8/2024, the readership data remains unchanged, with no significant growth or decline in active readers.

As you can see, the effective reader count has remained constant from the time I started writing to the most recent chapters. So, I'm just as puzzled as this particular commenter about where these supposed "potential readers" are, as there's been no increase or decrease in readership—it's consistently low.

Not only that, initially, I thought I was writing for the readers, but I quickly realized I didn't want to follow the same trope of a flawless good guy without any flaws or darker elements. This realization led to a steady increase in my chapters output, even without the "potential readers" that this commenter mentioned.

As of now, I'm uploading four chapters a day without asking for anything in return—completely free. Even with doubts continually arising about whether I should drop this novel, start a new one, or leave the writing industry altogether due to its lack of popularity, I'm still here writing.

So, this hypocrite commenter who calls me a degenerate, even though that guy enjoys reading this kind of content based on his reading history, is wrong without baseless conjecture from the start. As I said before, don't be like this person who yaps first before their logical mind kicks in.
