Chapter 13: A Quick Aside: Draco’s Magical technique
(Draco POV)
I've discovered a powerful magic—"Mine!" It works like a charm every single time. Whether it's a toy, a blanket, or even the book Father was reading, all I have to do is point and shout "Mine!" and Mum rushes to give it to me. I have been told about magic all my life, and it appears that I have discovered a completely new and powerful spell. Seras has not figured out anything to this level. I pity my sister. It's like being the king of my own little kingdom. My kingdom, my rules.
Now, if only I could figure out why nobody takes me seriously when I try to claim the family owl. Magical spells must work differently on owls. There must be a place in the house that has knowledge on matters like this, if only I could find it. I should work and practice my technique. Seras is apparently going somewhere else soon. The Malfoy family is no place for weak wizards, so it might be for the best.
I've even come up with a second, maybe even more powerful spell that I will debut just before she leaves. I call it "More."
