Lance chuckled, being overwhelmed by Paige's cute antics.

Natasha brought them to the car, and all three of them boarded in a hurry before she could invite herself in.

Paige immediately reached for the first-aid box.

"Come here."

Jace and Lance sat across from her; the latter put his paws forward obediently, while the former pushed his glasses up,

"Let me bring you up to date." 

He explained the subjects of his discussions with the principal, then gave forward what Terrence had told him on their way of tailing Paige and Lance.

"Terrence had a talk with the police commissioner. He, too, said that it wasn't customary to directly get your phone tracked, then storm a restaurant to get you seized, and the DNA results should also have taken longer to come out."

Paige concentrated on disinfecting the wounds while nodding,

"Yeah, fishy."
