Chapter 182: 182. Intervention

When Lance came home, it was already evening.

Jane was sitting in the living room, apparently waiting for him. When she saw him, she beckoned him to follow her.

"Can we talk later? I want to sleep." Lance tiredly ran his hand over his face.

"No, it has to be now." The always doting Jane was so serious, he had no choice to follow her to the third floor, to the study of his father.

When Jane entered fully to go to her husband's side, Lance saw that not only they were here, but even Jace and Maurice. 

'Is this a fucking intervention?' He narrowed his eyes, but the eyes of his parents bore into him until he sighed and gave up, letting himself plummet down into the only remaining seat.

Terrence cleared his throat,

"You are aware that you were influenced?"
