While speaking to Jace, Lance discovered a few things. For example, he already knew about the creators veiling their powers with the life forces; besides this information coming from Paige. 

However, he didn't remember getting it from her. He just knew. And like this, it was with other things too. But Paige, being a real transmigrator, had no idea.

While he showered and dried himself, he thought about what to do and say when he saw her in the car on the way to college.
