General Lambert said his goodbyes to the youths and left with the doctors, soldiers, and the corpse they were here to get.

Meier looked after the corpse of his mother blankly.

Jace had made something to eat and called them, before bringing Terrence and Jane some of it to their bedroom. 

Coming back and seeing the three eating with a good appetite, he sat down and chimed in.

"Thanks for the food, it tastes excellent." Paige commented. Apparently the employees were given free after what had happened in the cellar, so if Jace didn't feed them, they would have to order something.

Jace suppressed the warm, prickly feeling after getting a compliment from her and tried not to open the wound on his lip while eating.

"Meier, you should sleep here today if you feel comfortable with it." Paige looked at him after being ignored by Jace.

"I will." Meier wanted to sleep with Paige but seeing Lance glare at him, he would just try to sneak in at night.
