"Does she have an implant?" Jace wasn't sure if the military had mentioned the implants to the boy, but seeing Meier not asking about this, they apparently had.

"No..." Meier answered.

"I want to examine her with contrast material."

Jace sighed, they were already this far. He nodded.

Meier went into the room after stopping the machine. After explaining it to her and having her approval, he injected the contrast material, expertly.

Paige again praised him, improving Meier's mood considerably.

After waiting for a bit, she was again in the machine, Meier took a seat in front of his computer. Now he had a better look at the smallest aerials inside her brain.

"Yes... her brain was rewired."

"When?" Jace asked.

"It was before her kidnapping, she was still in the growing phase." Meier thought Jace was worried because of that.

"Her memories are mostly altered. The area is re-wired completely."
