Chapter 104: 104. Together

Lance initially had a plan; he wanted to play it cool, say he couldn't remember their make-out session in the elevator, advance, retreat, and play the game of push and pull to entice her.

But... Paige was sitting on his lap, the girl he had desperately searched, needed and missed for five years, she was this close- how could he wait? How could he not directly fall on his knees to beg her to engage in the closest possible relationship?

"Well...I'm still much older..." She tried to distance herself a bit.

"Mhmm" 

He came near again, their mouths apart only by a hair's breadth; licking his lips, nearly touching hers, he asked,

"And if my sixteen-year-old self kissed you, you would have reacted the same way you did just now?"

"I would have knocked you out." She said blankly, breathing fast and understanding more and more the fatal attraction grown-up Lance had on her.

She sighed expertly,

"Aaah, to hell with it."
