Chapter 94: 94. Eno

Paige wanted to tell Lance she was okay, but Eno forbade it. He said Paige wasn't safe as long as she was not with the male lead, and texting or calling him would directly alert Juno.

Eno said that Juno had already intervened so much, especially with Paige's kidnapping and even crippling- the world force would likely stop her from doing more.

Apparently, they used the life force of a few selected people to camouflage their powers. It was on one side the fuel to enhance their abilities, on the other side the world force would not kick them out of the plane as they were not human.

Eno amiably told her a few things, but his face showed no remorse.

"Aren't you feeling bad for the shit you do? For what?" She asked casually. Paige wasn't mad at him or the other creators; she felt helpless. Anger couldn't help or change anything, as the power difference was too much.
