Chapter 93: 93. Waking up

Paige felt her body sinking; it was an unreal feeling. She knew she should wake up because she had to do something important, but she didn't know what it was. Just floating should be enough for her, just letting go of everything.

But someone was waiting for her.

"Won't yer finally wake up?" A smooth voice asked, beautiful and relaxing.

'This crappy dialect...' she tried to open her eyes, only to be blinded by the light. She tried to gasp where she was, but only saw a glass dome over her head, no wonder it was this bright.

"Girl, yer gotta work to do. Can't let Juno get her will, right?"

She felt a finger stroking her cheek.

Paige blinked rapidly and came to see black eyes staring back at her.

"How much yer remember?" He asked.

"Lance..." She felt drained from just speaking a word.
