Lance discovered how much of an asshole he was before.

The female lead seemed not to act out of her free will either.

He had no idea if she was possessed, controlled or really just a puppet, maybe she was already dead and something manipulated her within.

He had just thought about himself like a fricking child and did not dwell on the fanatic light in her eyes and her overly familiar behavior, dismissing it as her being the female lead. 

Heck, he didn't even know her last name.

It seemed that she felt fake because this love for him was indeed fake, but it was out of her control.

He crouched down and asked her,

"Are you alright?" Just a second before, the system wanted to freak out because of his behavior.

But, it was now satisfied again.

Natasha's eyes sparkled, and her cheeks got rosy again. She let him help her up.
