Chapter 31: ch 31 < chaos Dragon and rosso attack >
Tatsuya Kandou used Thought Domination on Granbell Rosso.
The order was to attack Tempest as he need to gather information on the anomaly named Karna and Tempest forces since Empire will start it's invasion.
Mariabell had successfully unlocked the seal of the Chaos Dragon and took control of it using her unique skill, Greed.
At Tempest
Only Milim was present in Tempest, spending quality time with Testarossa and Karna.
Her subordinates had returned to their posts.
Luminas, Hinata, and the children were enjoying the aftermath of the festival.
Everyone was enjoying their time when they suddenly felt an ominous aura approaching them at an extremely fast pace.
Its magicule level was off the charts. Compared to that entity, Charybdis was like an insect.
"What an ominous aura," Luminas said. Hinata was equally stunned, sensing such a presence.
Mariabell was controlling the Chaos Dragon using her unique skill, Greed.
Around 1,500 soldiers marched towards Tempest, commanded by Granbell.
About 20 minutes later, an explosion caused panic in Tempest.
"Kenya: "What is happening?!
"Chloe: "Calm down, everyone..."
Karna turned to Milim, concern etched on his face. "Milim, do you know this entity?
"Milim nodded, her voice tinged with sadness. "Yes, it was my pet dragon, Noda."
<Why is Chaos Dragon comming here. This never happened in cannon.>
"Testarossa, who had been quietly observing, stepped forward. "Milim, if you need to confront that thing, we can handle things here."
"Milim, can you go stop him from rampaging?" Karna said.
"I sense some people marching towards Tempest.
I will see if I can help with your pet dragon."
"Really? Thanks, Karna!" she replied energetically and left to battle the Chaos Dragon.
Meanwhile, in the Holy Empire of Ruberios
A modern clown attacked the Holy Church and stole the coffin containing the body of Chronoa.
Ancient vampires, including Gunter, tried to stop them, but Laplace and Kagali easily escape while stealing coffin.
At Tempest
"Luminas-sama! Someone stole the holy arc," Louis communicated to her through thought communication.
"What?!" she shouted. Everyone looked at her with concern.
What is happening? This never happened according to what Chloe told me.
Luminas mind raced as she tried to piece together the implications.
Who could be behind this? And why target the Holy Church now? Chronoa's body has been secure for centuries...
She clenched her fists, trying to maintain her composure.

Parts of Tempest were blasted by nuclear magic.
"What is happening?" someone shouted.

Those who were part of the army of Tempest heard the following message:

In the next moment, a white light shone, and every civilian in Tempest disappeared.
The citizens were sent to the safest place available, Ramiris' Labyrinth.
Only Tempest's executives and other soldiers were left outside.
A grand barrier covered the rest of the city, protecting all buildings from severe damage.
A burst of Demon Lord haki and wild magicules was released from Rimuru.
<Report- high-level assault. The nuclear magic was just the beginning. We need to counterattack swiftly." Raphael said to rimuru >

Granbell stood in the distance, watching as the magic attack unfolded.
The strong magic casters were completely depleted, yet when the dust settled.
Tempest was still standing strong.
Granbell ordered Maria and Razul to attack the Tempest forces.
Yuuki, whom everyone thought was under Mariabell's mind control, was also present. But he had other plans in mind. Since everyone in Tempest knew about his ambitious goals, he believed it was better to eliminate them.
Yuuki watched the chaos with a calculated gaze, feeling a mix of excitement and determination. This is the perfect opportunity.
A smirk crossed Yuuki's face. I'll fool everyone into believing that Tempest only has Karna to consider and veldora is weak because of hero seal.
Soon, Tempest and rosso family will fall, and my ambitions will be realized.

"Testarossa, Carrera, Ultima, go on a rampage as much as you want. Kill all enemies. They are a threat to us," Karna ordered them.
"Hai!" they replied and moved toward the soldiers.
Rimuru then turned to Diablo and Shuna. "Make sure the defenses are strong. We can't afford to let any of them through."
"Understood, Master," Diablo said with a nod, his eyes gleaming with determination.
Shuna added, "I'll ensure the barriers are reinforced and the healers are ready for any casualties."
"You go help Milim while I take down these forces," Karna said firmly, placing a hand on Rimuru's shoulder. "Stay focused. We can't let them see us falter.
"Rimuru turned to leave but paused, looking back. "Are you sure you can handle this on your own? I can't leave you here."
Karna gave a confident nod. "Rimuru, this time, let me handle it. I will make the situation here under control. Milim needs you more right now."
Rimuru hesitated, concern etched on his face. "But—"
"No buts," Karna interrupted gently but firmly. "Trust me. You know I can do this. Milim needs you. Please, go to her."
Reluctantly, Rimuru nodded. "Alright. Be careful out there."
"You too, Rimuru. Now go," Karna urged.
Rimuru complied with the request and headed toward Milim.
"Veldora, provide support to Karna," Rimuru instructed through their telepathic link.
Veldora's voice boomed in karna and rimuru mind "Kuhahaha, leave it to me, brothers. I'll back you up."
Rimuru nodded appreciatively, feeling reassured by Veldora's presence.

The army rushed into the city, ready to attack anyone in sight. Yet the streets appeared empty.
Granbell's strongest subordinate was ready to destroy the main buildings when a ray of light blasted the ground, and the Oni Gang appeared.
A fight broke out between them and the Onis.
Benimaru stepped forward, his eyes narrowing at the approaching soldiers. "I am warning you," he called out, his voice firm and commanding,
"Do not attack tempest. Leave now, and you might live."
The soldiers scoffed, their leader sneering. "We will crush you and your city. All monster should be purged !" They shouted, raising weapon.
Benimaru sighed. "You leave us no choice."
To prevent damage to Tempest's buildings, Hakuro and Benimaru showcased their sword skills, slicing through any opponent who dared to attack.
Benimaru used his Black Flame Slash to incinerate enemies, their screams echoing as they turned to ashes.
Shion unleashed her brute strength, wielding a massive weapon that shattered anything it struck. She used her unique skill chef to destroy Holy barriers.
Soldiers who dared to confront her were met with devastating blows that sent them flying, their armor crushed and bodies broken.
As the soldiers screamed in terror and agony, Benimaru's eyes burned with determination. "I warned you," he muttered, his voice lost in the chaos of battle.

Geld and the Yellow Numbers were constructing a defensive wall, preventing any knights from entering main area.
Before the battle intensified, Geld turned to his subordinates, his voice filled with determination.
"Listen up, everyone! This is our home, Tempest. We've built it with our sweat and blood. We can't let these invaders take it from us."
The Yellow Numbers nodded, their expressions resolute.
"Remember why we fight," Geld continued.
"We fight for our families, our friends, and our future. Stand strong and don't let fear take hold.
Together, we are unstoppable!"His words ignited a fire within them, and they raised their weapons high, ready to defend their home.
The Yellow Numbers responded with a unified roar, their resolve unbreakable as they stood firm against enemies blocking their attacks and pushing them.
Injured are treated using full potion and holy magic division.

The leaders of Cerberus were also present, battling Tempest forces.
Vega and Diablo were locked in a fierce battle, while Misha was engaged in combat with Testarossa.
A terrifying aura was suddenly unleashed from Diablo as he appeared in front of Vega and punched him in the face.
Vega was surprisingly quick to react, blocking Diablo's punch with his palm, prompting the latter to smirk.
"It seems like this trip won't be boring after all," Vega spoke with an excited look in his eyes.
However, Diablo's smirk widened as he effortlessly overpowered Vega, his attacks becoming a blur of lethal precision.
Vega struggled to keep up, realizing he had underestimated his opponent.
Meanwhile, Testarossa was giving Misha a harsh beating.
Misha screamed in frustration, her pride wounded. "Now, I will fight seriously!" she declared, her eyes burning with determination.
Testarossa laughed at her naïve thinking. "Oh, please. You think you can match me just because you've decided to get serious now?" she taunted, her voice dripping with condescension.
Misha's face contorted with rage, but Testarossa only smiled, her confidence unshaken.
"Come on, then. Show me what you've got," Testarossa said, her laughter echoing as the battle intensified.

Carrera and Ultima facing major portion of soldiers.
Carrera's eyes gleamed with a dark intensity as she raised her hands, chanting ancient incantations that summoned shadows from the depths of the hell.
Dark tendrils snaked out, entwining around the legs of the approaching soldiers, ensnaring them in a grip of fear and despair.
Ultima's presence was no less daunting. With a flick of her fingers, she conjured orbs of pulsating black energy that hovered ominously in the air.
Each orb unleashed waves of malevolent power, disorienting and weakening the enemy ranks with every pulse.
The soldiers, caught in Carrera and Ultima's dark magic, faltered in their advance.
Some clutched at their throats as if struggling to breathe, while others stumbled and fell under the weight of unseen forces pressing down upon them
Ultima's eyes blazed with a cold fire as she surveyed the scene. "Witness the power of despair," she intoned, her voice echoing like a distant lamentation.
They easily took down many soldiers.

And so the main team departs...Karna, Hinata, and Luminous reached the location where Ross and everyone else was.
Karna's eyes scanned the area and saw various enemies."Razul, Granbell, Maria, Yuuki, and even Damrada...
< What the hell is Damrada doing here?" he wondered>
"Granbell Rosso, the head of the Rosso family and the leader of the Five Elders, what are you doing here?" Hinata asked sharply.
His eyes widened in shock upon seeing Luminous.
"Granbell, why the hell are you attacking Tempest?" Luminous demanded.
"This was not part of the plan. Why is Luminas here?" Granbell thought aloud.
"Tempest is dangerous for the world. They are planning to dominate this world through their economy, and their rapid growth will trigger the Tenma War," he explained his reasoning."
It seems you are serious about antagonizing me," Luminous replied calmly.
"Hahaha! Luminous Sama, no, Luminas. I will eliminate all those who are a threat to this world, even if that includes you."
"Maria, go fight against Luminous," Granbell ordered.
"Very well, I shall go immediately..." Maria replied dutifully.
And the woman named Maria moved towards where Luminous was, her movements mechanical and devoid of human-like grace.
Hinata and Damrada took stances to confront each other.
Granbell and I then look at each other.
"Nice to meet you, Granbell. I am Demon Lord Karna of Tempest."
"So you're Karna! You're a threat to humanity, even greater than Guy." You and the other demon lord are trying to conquer this world.
Don't look down on humans.
"What the hell is this guy even saying?
I'm just a side character," Karna thought.
"Taking over the world? That's just so boring.
I just help Rimuru occasionally," he said to Granbell.
Granbell's gaze hardened as he looked at me."You truly are the one I have been preparing for all this time."
Razul tried to punch me from behind, but I caught his fist.
In retaliation, Karna coated his fist with Storm magic and punched Razul.
Razul was sent flying away in a straight line, rolling ungainly on the ground. Granbell seemed a bit shocked.
His exoskeleton cracked, and Storm magic was destroying him from the inside out.
"Well, you started it. It's pointless to battle you in wits. Let's prove ourselves in another way," Karna replied to Granbell.
"Heh-heh-heh... Say what you will," Granbell said.
