Evelyn's eyes widened in surprise, the sweet sensation of his lips sending a tremor down her spine. Zevian's other hand reached for her nape, tilting her head to deepen the kiss. She closed her eyes and kissed him back with the same fierce intensity, their hearts racing with overwhelming emotions.

Zevian's lips skillfully moved over hers, biting, sucking, and teasing until Evelyn felt weak in the knees. Her hand reached for his hair, running through the soft silk and grabbing it in response to his tease.
