Chapter 115: Angina

Hunter followed the ambulance closely as it sped through the streets toward Royalty International Hospital. The bright, flashing lights painted the road in hues of red and blue. Hunter's thoughts were a storm of confusion and concern.

When they arrived at the hospital, Hunter parked his car and quickly made his way to the ambulance. As the paramedics opened the back door, Ned Sterling sat up, looking pale and disoriented but alert.

Against the advice of the paramedics, he had received Delilah's call earlier, and the call had left him even more worried for her. He knew that Claudia and Chloe wouldn't let her get in the way of their plan.

"There is no need for me to go inside," Ned insisted, his voice weak but determined. He waved away the paramedics as they tried to help him out. "I feel better already. I don't need to see a doctor."
