"There's been an accident in the village!"

Hearing the distant shouts, Roger's expression changed slightly, and he rushed ahead.

Through the woods and over the hill, the chaos in the village was fully in view.

A treehouse was engulfed in flames, and several weapon-wielding dryads had surrounded a person, while cries could be heard from the outskirts of the crowd.

"Be careful, everyone, don't hurt him."

The man speaking was the same tall man who had interacted with Roger earlier.

And the one the crowd had surrounded was Lorry, his brother who was supposed to be dead.

"He's not dead!"

A flicker of joy passed over Goway's face.

"There's only a scar on his palm and no signs of poisoning on his body. It looks like he was in a state of false death before."

She quietly breathed a sigh of relief.

"The Mountain Woman must have been mistaken, how could the weapon of the Headless Knight appear here?"

As she spoke, Goway rushed towards the village.
