Chapter 4: Progress
I wake up as the sunlight was streaming through the windows of my apartment. I have many things to do today.
I stand up from my bed and do some light stretches to wave off the drowsiness a bit and then proceed to complete my morning rituals.
Today I have to stock up on the groceries, get myself a mobile phone and sim card, some necessary things for the house and then look for money. I am running a little low on the money.
The first thing on the agenda was a mobile phone. I went to a shop and easily bought one, so now I have a means of communication atleast.
Next up on the agenda was to stock up on the groceries and that to went without a hitch and now I was getting hungry so I went to the same cafe and got myself a brunch, talked a little with emily and returned home after.
Now there are many long term ways to get myself the money but the short term is precarious but I had the ultimate tool on my left wrist but first I have to do a few things to the omnitrix.
The first Alien I turn into is a Galvan, I will keep the name grey matter. I gently push the activation button and the dial pops up, it shows the projection of what I recognized as heat blast, I started twisting the dial and many Aliens pass by, Fourarms, Ghostfreak, Stinkfly, and finally I landed on the Galvan, Grey Matter. When I transformed into him it was as if my mind had expanded exponentially and various new knowledge streamed into my mind, I knew it will not last when I transform back so I sat down in my tiny form to think my plan through. There are various things I need to change in the omnitrix, First of all there was no need for the bright green light that flashes everytime I change form, so it had to go, second I need to activate cloaking mode which will hide the omnitrix from being detected, the transformation time needed to be reduced too.
With the plan formed I change back to my human form and just as I thought I felt no discomfort during the change, it feels like a small vibration travels throughout my body whenever I change form.
I search through my line up of aliens and reached the alien I wanted, echo-echo. I am going to use him to make some modification to the omnitrix.
I transform into echo-echo and make three copies of myself. We all change back into me which was a little wierd to me but thankfully it didn't seem like they had different personalities, which happened to Ben.
I hold the omnitrix forward, one of us transforms into Grey Matter and the other into Upgrade. Upgrade seeps into the omnitrix and relays information to Grey Matter and he make the decisions on what to do and what not to do. It took a long while but in the end it worked.
This time when we transformed back there was no bright green flash of light, only a thin green film shined all over our body and it took just a second I was back.
Now cloaking mode was active and when I didn't need the watch it would seem like I am wearing a green braclet with a green stone. Whenever I wanted to use the omnitrix it would come out of cloaking mode again.
With these changes out of the way, I can focus on the next problem which is money.
I came up with a simple solution. I will become Ghostfreak and become invisible and intangible and leave my apartment and then I will follow some street gang to there place where they keep their money and then I will take that money plain and simple.
I do the same then, I transform into Ghostfreak and become invisible and intangible. I pass through the wall of my apartment and make my way towards Hell's Kitchen.
It didn't take long for me to find a small gang who were dropping money off at a drop off point. Just when they left I went around and throughly searched the area and for anyone or anything that could see me. When I was sure that it was safe I proceeded to take that money and placed it near my apartment without anyone finding out. I return to my apartment, deactivate the transformation and proceeded to walk out of the apartment while walking casually I passed by the place where I had kept the money and simply picked it up and after a little stroll, returned to the apartment. I had gained a good amount, thirty thousand dollars. It was enough to make my plans a reality.
I kept the money safely in the apartment and then proceeded to sleep. The next up on my list of things to do is to work on myself. I will open a trader account and a bank account for myself.
I also had to buy various parts to make myself a computer through which I can access the market and other thing.
I also had to sign myself up for a gym and start building my body. Untill I can get my hands on the super soldier serum or something similar I will have to do this and ofcourse learn how to fight. I will have to learn different fighting styles. Possibly I will make myself one of my very own.
There are many things that went wrong in this decade and I intend to not let those things happen. I have the power to change them and I intend to do so.
Its going to be interesting. I change a lot of things that went wrong in my previous life. This is going to be the world which I live in and I will try my best to make it as better as I can...
