Chapter 8: Control Over the Weak
A psychopath, according to various sources, is the result of a complex combination of genetic and environmental factors.
Sometimes they are intelligent. However, they have poor judgment, which leads them to make bad decisions according to moral standards and the lifestyle of the righteous.
They lack remorse and the ability to feel guilt. They are detached from society and other people, being introverted; of course, this is not true in all cases, but it is usually so.
Impulsive, aggressive, and, above all, unpredictable.
Jonathan Hansen, a thirteen-year-old middle school student, is a psychopath.
'Should I watch her all night just to be sure?' This psychopath, for the first time, frowned, doubting his judgment for the first time in this world.
Jonathan controlled his impulses most of the time by sheer will, but this didn't stop him from killing anyone he wanted with ease. Now he didn't care at all; he felt superior and seemed to demonstrate that he was a predator who despises common people.
'It would indeed be a problem if she talked to the police, but knowing she has supernatural abilities, she should stay quiet.'
Jonathan, who was on top of the building, disappeared, emerged from an empty street, and, looking at Yina, who was resting, extended his hand to give her his cell phone. "I thought I was the only special one in the world, but I see you also have supernatural abilities."
'This should work to establish a connection...'
Yina didn't want to look up, but when she saw her cell phone floating towards her, she asked in surprise, "Do you have superpowers?"
But at that moment, when Jonathan was about to speak, he heard a voice several hundred meters away.
"Help, help!"
Turning around, he saw Nick running weakly while shouting. This bully had entered the forest after jumping over the small wall.
"Help! Someone help me, please!"
Jonathan's eyes narrowed.
"We'll talk later; I have to clean up my mess." Jonathan, who handed the cell phone to Yina, disappeared from everyone's sight and reappeared in a building closer to the place where he had to kill that boy.
Walking to his bag in the dark alley, he took out a towel to wipe the blood from his hands. As for the clothes, he planned to change them.
But before changing, he took something off his wrist.
"If I kill him now, I would lose the trust I want to build with Yina; this can't go wrong in any way." Jonathan had a plan in mind that he had to follow to stay familiar with the supernatural world.
To cover his tracks, he needed to burn his clothes and belongings stained with blood. The fire slowly consumed the towels and clothes that couldn't be restored.
Jonathan waited until he was sure the flame would consume everything. While waiting, he murmured to himself, "I doubt she'll betray me."
A few minutes later, Jonathan walked away from the crime scene after changing clothes.

"I'm back!"
"It's already dark; where were you?" Jonathan's great-aunt asked, concern overshadowing her anger.
"Come on, aunt, I'm already a senior in middle school. Is it wrong to come home late?" Jonathan laughed, once again pretending his personality.
"It's not wrong, but it's dangerous."
His great-aunt then turned to look at him with a serious expression: "I just heard that some of the students from your school were found dead during the holidays. They were all delinquents and had bad records, so the police suspect they are part of the ongoing gang war or something like that."
"Ha, ha, ha, that again. If that's true, it should be on the news." Jonathan entered his room before going to the bathroom.
The first thing he did was leave all his belongings that were not stained with blood, and then he went in to take a shower. The blood on his body washed away with the cold water; there was much more than he expected.
While showering, Jonathan felt no remorse; there were no such feelings in his body. Everything that weakened him as a predator was diminishing. An example is that he didn't feel fear, doubt, pain, or guilt. This left him at his peak for other feelings such as anger, pride, confidence, and arrogance.
When he got out of the shower, he looked in the mirror and saw that his face had completely recovered from all the fatigue, his gaze showing no feelings, and after a while, he smiled.
"I think I'll be very attractive as an adult; that's very good." Jonathan moved his hand, and a white towel flew out of a closet to dry the water off his body.
Jonathan's movements were natural, as if he had thoroughly explored all his abilities. While changing clothes, his senses extended beyond the house where he lived, scanning the surroundings hundreds of meters until they reached their maximum point.
"Nothing as always..." Jonathan's gaze could calculate every detail, so he knew no one had entered his room.
He supposed that to control things with his mind through telekinesis, he must have a much higher percentage of his brain's capacity released. He might even dare to say he had one hundred percent of his capacity under constant control.
This is why he played video games all the time while using his brain for many other things, such as learning to use computers to get money and practically stealing.
"I need a little more time before I leave here." Jonathan was a minor and looked it up; any police officer or older man could stop him anywhere they saw him. However, as long as he appeared older, he could go unnoticed.
