Chapter 41: Abducted!

[BEFORE THEY LEFT THE MANSION]

After saying their final goodbyes to their grandfather and promising to visit him again soon, both women made their way out of the mansion, ready to leave.

"It's such shocking news you were never legally married to your husband, Hyun Woo." Areum had started a conversation as they walked out of the mansion side by side.

"You can bet your entire fortune, Areum. I was shocked as well." Aera replied calmly.

Hearing this, Areum nodded as if she was agreeing with what Aera had just said. For some unknown reason it seemed like there was still a rift between them despite Aera knowing the truth about Hyun Woo's mistress already, but she was just trying to protect herself as she couldn't trust anyone yet.

"Tell me, Areum." Aera continued, folding her arms against her chest while pulling to a stop. "Why have you come here today?" She inquired, raising a suspicious eyebrow.
