Chapter 135: Are you prey or predator?

In the middle of the endless frozen land, where the wind rustled coldly and snow covered every inch of the surface. Esdeath, was seen standing tall in front of Noah and C.C. Although she was only wearing thin clothes, her courage was unquestionable. Beside her, there were two large creatures, Dangerous Beasts standing still with a threatening attitude, ready to attack.

Esdeath continued to stare at the motionless Dangerous Beast like a statue with a curious gaze, this was the first time she had seen a human have powers like a dangerous beast. Previously, Noah had stopped the Dangerous Beast's time to prevent it from escaping or attacking Esdeath before the training began.

Noah stood quietly, the cold wind occasionally patted his face, making his hair flutter like a blazing fire. He knew that Esdeath had extraordinary potential, but in order to bring out that potential, she had to learn the right techniques and strategies. In his mind, he had already planned the training that would be carried out.

"Esdeath," Noah called out in a firm but gentle voice. "Today we will begin your training. You already have the courage and basic skills, but we need to hone them further."

Esdeath looked at Noah eagerly. "I'm ready. What should I do?"

Noah smiled, impressed by her enthusiasm. "First, we need to understand your strengths and your limits. We will conduct a series of tests to assess your ability to face these Dangerous Beasts."

Esdeath nodded. She already knew what Dangerous Beasts were. They were creatures that were not only large, but also had sharp hunting instincts. However, she did not feel afraid. Instead, she felt excited. "I will show you what I can do."

With that enthusiasm, Noah began to plan the training. First, they had to approach the Dangerous Beasts. Esdeath stepped forward, fixing her gaze on the large creatures. She could feel the energy and power flowing from their bodies. Taking one step forward, she stopped in her tracks, waiting for Noah's instructions.

"Watch their movements, these Dangerous Beasts are not only strong, but they are also intelligent. If you want to defeat them, you must be able to read their movement patterns." Noah said as he lifted the frozen time of the dangerous beast.

Esdeath nodded. She focused her attention, watching every little movement made by the creatures. They seemed calm, but Esdeath knew that one wrong move could be fatal. She took a deep breath, trying to calm her mind.

After a few minutes of intense observation, Esdeath began to feel the rhythm of the Dangerous Beasts' movements. She recalled all the lessons she had received from her past hunting experiences. She knew when they would attack and how to avoid them.

"Good," Noah praised. "Now, try to approach them slowly. Don't make any sudden movements. Remember, you must be able to control this situation."

Cautiously, Esdeath stepped forward, moving her feet gently on the snow. She tried to stay calm and not to intimidate the creatures. Every step felt like a great challenge, but she must not back down. Both the Dangerous Beast and Esdeath observed each other, Esdeath and the dangerous beast treating each other as prey. As hunters, they looked for an opportunity to launch a deadly attack on their prey.

The Dangerous Beasts began to move, responding to Esdeath's presence. One of them moved its head, staring at her with a sharp gaze. Esdeath could feel the tension in the air, but she showed no fear. She stared back, trying to show that she was not easy prey. It was unknown who the prey and predator really were because often the roles could be reversed at any time.

Noah watched closely, feeling the tension rising. He knew that this was a crucial moment for Esdeath to prove herself. "Now, show me your skills," he said, his voice full of passion.

Esdeath focused all her attention and energy. With a swift movement, she jumped to the side as the Dangerous Beast attacked. In an elegant movement, she dodged the large claw that nearly hit her body. Her confidence grew as she managed to dodge.

She not only dodged, but also took the opportunity to attack. With speed and precision, Esdeath launched a counterattack, trying to hit the Dangerous Beast's most vulnerable body part.

Although her attacks had not managed to injure the creature, Noah could see that Esdeath had made significant progress. "Good! Keep going!" he shouted, encouraging Esdeath.

Esdeath didn't stop. She kept moving, dodging attacks and launching counterattacks. She started to develop a strategy, watching the creature's movement patterns and looking for an opening to attack. Every time she managed to dodge, her confidence grew.

However, the Dangerous Beasts wouldn't give up so easily. They started attacking all at once, trying to trap Esdeath. She knew that this was a crucial moment. She recalled all the training she had gone through before, taking a deep breath. As one of the creatures jumped, she turned and deftly, she kicked the snow in its direction, creating a kind of blinding mist.

Taking that opportunity, Esdeath jumped forward, using the momentum to attack. She felt the power in every movement, giving it everything she had. Her attacks were now more focused and directed. She knew that she could do it.

A moment later, with one precise movement, she managed to create a wound on the Dangerous Beast's side. The creature let out a deep growl, but Esdeath didn't back down.

Noah watched intently, pride and admiration filling his heart. "Well done, Esdeath! You've shown great progress!" he shouted, encouraging her. "Keep going, don't stop now!"

With a burning spirit, Esdeath continued the fight. She fought against the two Dangerous Beasts, relying on the skills and speed she had honed. She was not only fighting for herself, but also to prove that she could be a great warrior, even at a young age.

After a while of fighting, Esdeath felt tired but did not give up. She realized that every move she made had an impact, and she had to keep fighting to gain victory. She kept moving, trying to find an opening to attack, even though fatigue was starting to set in.

Noah realized that this was the right time to give her one last push. "Esdeath, remember your goal! You are not just fighting against these creatures, but you are fighting to find your true power. Believe in yourself!"

Those words gave Esdeath new energy. She raised her head, looking at the two creatures with new determination. With one swift movement, she jumped up, avoiding the attack, and with full power, she launched a final attack.

Her attacks were on target, and with one powerful kick, she managed to knock one of the Dangerous Beasts down. The creature growled, but Esdeath was already preparing for her next attack. She would not stop until she could defeat both of them.

After a long struggle, Esdeath finally managed to defeat the Dangerous Beasts. She stood there, panting but with a smile on her face as she looked at the corpse of the dangerous beast.

After seeing Esdeath exhausted Noah asked her to take a short break before starting the real training, he taught Esdeath martial arts and weapon skills. Although even without Noah's guidance, Esdeath could become very strong, but it would take more time. With Noah's guidance the time it took Esdeath to grow into a strong figure was shorter.

....

The day passed and night fell making the snowy plains even colder, the silver moon hanging high in the sky adding a little light to the snowy world.

Noah used the fire of the Sun to melt the snow around him and make the temperature warmer, using his authority as the god of life Noah accelerated the growth of plants in the area adding a touch of green to the monotonous white world. Since he became a god, his use of authority has become better and he can do some things that he couldn't do before because of the limitations of the authority seized from the heretic god.

As the god of life, of course it is not difficult to accelerate the growth of plants. The limitations on Campione are not only the magic power that cannot grow but also the limitations of the use of authority, for example if he seizes the authority to summon a white horse that carries the fire of the Sun, he can only use it to attack enemies and summon a white horse to be used as a mount. But since he became the god of the sun, he can use other powers of the sun such as healing, after all the sun does not only bring destruction but also life.
