Chapter 128: Ascension Ritual

Inside a magnificent temple built with magnificent and gleaming architecture, a towering altar sits in the center of a vast room. The temple is dedicated to the god Vermilion, a deity revered by the people of Vermilion. The walls of the temple are covered in mysterious runes and symbolic images depicting the forces of nature and the cycle of life. The sun shines amidst a thundering storm, the sea is surging, and a golden sword is held high. Each symbol has a deep meaning, representing Noah's aspects as the god of war, storms, thunder, contracts, life and death. All of these elements create an atmosphere that is sacred and full of mystery.

In the center of the altar, Noah sits with his legs crossed. With his red hair flowing like fire and his eyes shining brightly, he is surrounded by golden light that radiates from every direction. This light is no ordinary light, each ray is the prayer and faith of the people of the Vermilion kingdom.

Noah has been preparing for this ascension ritual for months. He has gathered the kingdom's faith, building a solid foundation to absorb the divine energy that will transform him into a god. In the process, he had created a separate dimension, a safe space from outside influences that could protect the outside world from any possible consequences during the ritual. In this dimension, there was only him and C.C. along with every ray of faith.

C.C. stood beneath the altar, watching Noah's every move with rapt attention. As Noah's lover, C.C. knew how important this ritual was, so she made sure it went smoothly. She felt the waves of energy flowing around Noah, and although she believed in Noah's power, she also felt the tension that enveloped the room.

After months of preparation, the moment had come. Noah raised both his hands up, summoning the energy he had gathered.

His voice echoed through the temple, shaking the cold stone walls.

"Here I hum, singing the great song of the god slayer, who took the throne from the arrogant gods. I weave the tale of the demon king, the lord of darkness who conquered the earth. Here I sing a hymn from the story of a god born from the synergy of sunlight and the sound of waves, a symbol of harmony between life and death.

I sing praises to the undefeated god of war, celebrating his eternal power. I praise the God of Life and Death, the one who rules the cycles of all things. My voice exalts the name of the Sea God, lord of the boundless ocean, and the Sun God, spreader of light that both gives life and destroys.

I sing a song to the God of Contracts, the unshakeable enforcer of promises. Here I swear, light the sacred fire, and make myself the god of war, storms, seas, skies, life, death, and covenants!"

Noah's voice rang out, calling upon a power greater than himself.

The golden light around him grew brighter, as if responding to his call. The runes on the temple walls vibrated, and the symbolic images seemed to come to life, swirling and uniting in one purpose. Noah felt power flowing through him, manifesting all the faith he had accumulated. In the process, he absorbed not only faith, but also the pain, hopes, and dreams of his followers.

Day after day, Noah worked to ignite the divine fire within him. He sat at the altar, meditating and praying, allowing the energy to flow and merge with him. C.C. faithfully waited beneath the altar, monitoring every change.

Six months passed, and Noah was getting closer to his goal. He felt the power flowing within him grow stronger, and the golden light around him grew brighter. C.C who had witnessed this process, sensed the change in Noah. She knew that Noah was on the verge of becoming something greater than a mere human.

Noah felt the energy flowing within him. With the power he had gathered, he continued the spell that summoned divine power.

The golden light around him grew and shone brighter. The runes on the temple walls glowed, and all the symbols depicting the cycle of life and death began to spin, creating a vortex of energy. In that moment, Noah felt an incredible awakening of power. The divine fire ignited within him, and he knew that he was on the verge of transformation.

"I am Noah Vermilion! The god in charge of the sky, the earth, the sea, the underworld, war, and contracts," he shouted, his voice echoing with unmatched power.

"With the faith of my people, I rise! With their courage, I become the god Vermilion!" he shouted, his voice echoing throughout the dimensions.

In the blink of an eye, golden light exploded, filling the entire temple with dazzling light. Noah felt a tremendous transformation; he had become more than just a human. In that moment, he had fused with the essence of the gods that had come before him, taking over the power and authority that he had seized from the heretic god.

When the light subsided, the temple remained calm. Noah, now having achieved his ascension, stood on the altar as the god of Vermilion. C.C, who was overseeing the ritual, stared at Noah in awe.

Outside the temple, the wind blew gently, bringing calm to every citizen of the Vermilion kingdom.

Although Noah's power had not increased much because the final ritual had not been performed so that his magical power or now called divine power had not increased, but his essence had fundamentally changed, he was no longer human, but a god with divinity.

....

While on the other hand Noah was in the process of the ascension ritual, Zero was holding a meeting with Kuro no Kishidan in their headquarters.

The walls of the room were filled with maps and strategy diagrams showing the enemy positions and important locations in Tokyo. The atmosphere was tense and full of concentration.

"We all know how dangerous the situation in Tokyo is right now. Britannia not only has regular soldiers, but also a very strong Vampire army. We must have a solid plan to liberate Japan." Zero said while standing in front of a large table with a calm but firm voice.

"With my Knightmare, we can attack directly into their center. However, we need more than just combat power. We need accurate information about their positions and strengths." Kallen said who was wearing a red pilot suit looking excited.

"I have collected data on the movements of Britannia's troops. They are deploying more Vampire troops around Tokyo. If we can exploit their weaknesses, we can make an effective surprise attack." Diethart said while leaning against the wall, carrying a small laptop in his hand.

"If we attack from the east side, we can catch them by surprise. However, we must make sure that our troops are not caught in a counterattack. We need to split up our forces to distract them." Toudo said while looking at the map seriously.

"We need to involve our allies inside the city. If they can create unrest and chaos, we can take advantage of the situation to attack." Ohgi said with his arms crossed.

"Z01 Squad is ready to act. We have trained ourselves to fight Vampires, and we know how to destroy them. However, we must be careful. They have incredible speed and strength." Hiro who sat at the head of the table said with a deep voice. Hiro was the leader of the Z01 werewolf squad.

"We will conduct a simultaneous attack. Kallen, you will lead our forces with your Knightmare. Diethart, continue gathering information and find out more about their strength. Ohgi and Toudo, organize the troops to create a disturbance in the western area. Hiro, make sure Z01 Squad is ready to cut off the enemy's escape route." Zero's words caught everyone's attention.

"Understood," Kallen replied.

"I will send you updates at all times. We cannot let them have the advantage." Diethart said while continuing to watch his Laptop.

"We will prepare in the west. We will break their concentration and give them an opportunity to attack." Toudo said as he pointed to a location on the map.

"Remember, this is not just about liberating Japan. This is about destroying Britannia's tyranny once and for all. We will act carefully and with calculation. Now, prepare. This battle will decide our fate." Zero said firmly.

The members of the Kuro no Kishidan all nodded, passion and determination on their faces. A plan had been made, and they prepared to face the Britannian army.
