In a laboratory inside the Kuro no Kishidan headquarters, Rakshata, wearing a white coat, was jotting down something while staring at a bottle of bright red potion like blood in front of her.
After obtaining the werewolf corpse from Noah, Rakshata had spent almost all of her time in research.
After conducting many experiments in the past month, Rakshata had finally found the perfect formula. After days of experimenting with combinations of chemicals and rare herbal extracts, along with werewolf blood, she had finally managed to create a serum that could potentially give humans the powers of werewolves. However, she still needed to do further testing. She needed a living subject to try the potion on, so she immediately went to Zero to ask him to prepare someone who would drink the potion.
After Zero heard that Rakshata had finally created a potion that could turn humans into werewolves, he immediately felt excited for a moment before frowning as he thought about who should try the potion on. He didn't dare to rashly use Geass to force them to drink the potion, he didn't know if the Geass power would disappear after they had the werewolf power, if the Geass' control over them was lost and they had hatred for him, then perhaps the first thing they would do after gaining the power would be to kill him.
He knew that this potion could be a blessing or a curse, therefore he had to consider it carefully.
After much deliberation, Zero decided to gather the senior members of the Kuro no Kishidan to decide. It was no secret to the senior members that Rakshata was researching supernatural potions.
Ohgi, Toudo, Kallen, and Diethart immediately gathered in the meeting room upon receiving Zero's call.
Inside the simple yet functional meeting room, the senior members of the Kuro no Kishidan gathered. A tense atmosphere enveloped the room as Zero, wearing his mask, stood before them with a serious expression.
"You must have all heard about Rakshata's research," Zero said, breaking the silence. "She has created a potion that can give humans werewolf powers."
Ohgi frowned, "Werewolf powers? This could be a double-edged sword, Zero. We need to be very careful."
"Right," Kallen added, "Are we really sure about the side effects of the serum?"
Diethart, who was usually calm, now looked more agitated. "But if we can control that power, we can turn the tide of battle. This power could be a great strategic advantage for us."
"However, we have to consider who will be the test subjects," Toudo said, drawing everyone's attention. "We can't be careless. We don't know how they'll react after consuming the potion."
Zero nodded, "That's why I want to hear your opinions. We need to find someone who is willing to try it, someone we can trust not to use the power carelessly."
"Ohgi, are there any members we feel are strong enough and willing to take this risk?" Kallen asked.
"If we're looking for someone brave, maybe we could consider some of the new, more idealistic members," Ohgi replied. "However, we have to make sure that they understand the consequences of this decision."
"What about the members who have been involved in dangerous missions before?" Diethart suggested. "They might be better prepared to deal with the possible consequences."
Zero sighed, "We have to do this carefully. We can't just focus on the outcome, but also on the ethics of what we're doing. We don't want to create monster."
Kallen looked at Zero seriously, "So what do we do now? Do we announce a search for test subjects?"
"Not yet," Zero said. "We need to formulate a plan and discuss it further with Rakshata. We need to make sure we have all the information we need before we take the next step."
Ohgi nodded in agreement. "We also need to think of a way to control the power that the serum will give us. If something goes wrong, we need to be prepared."
"Alright," Zero concluded. "Let's discuss it with Rakshata and find out more about the effects of this serum. We can't rush into this. Power is a responsibility, and we need to make sure we don't repeat the mistakes of the past."
All the senior members of Kuro no Kishidan exchanged glances, realizing the weight of the responsibility that lay ahead of them. They agreed to continue the discussion, in hopes of finding the right solution to this great challenge.
The day passed and after having enough information and preparation in case something unexpected happened, the day of the potion testing finally arrived.
After the 10 people who were willing to drink the potion were ready, Rakshata immediately distributed the potion to them.
With Zero's permission, the volunteers immediately injected the potion into their veins. After the potion was injected, their hearts beat fast, and they felt a flow of energy that they had never felt before. Various testing devices continuously issued a series of research data and the conditions of the 10 people
In an instant, their bodies transformed. Their hair grew thick, their teeth became sharp.
"Are you all okay?, how do you feel?" Zero asked after seeing their transformation.
"We feel our sense of smell has increased greatly"
"We feel like we have the power to destroy everything" They said in awe. Of course being able to destroy everything was just their illusion due to the sudden increase in power.
"I see, it seems like there are no major negative effects. Let's do the testing," Rakshata said before ordering the members of the Kuro no Kishidan to bring various metals and even military vehicles to the training grounds.
Zero watched intently as the members of the Kuro no Kishidan began to bring various metals and military vehicles to the training grounds. The atmosphere around them was tense, yet filled with excitement and curiosity. "Remember, we need to do this carefully," Zero said, trying to calm everyone down. "We don't fully understand the limits of this new power yet."
Rakshata nodded, then ordered the team members to begin arranging the various objects to be tested. "We'll start with the smaller ones first," she said, pointing to the pile of metals that had been prepared. "Let's see how strong you are now."
The newly transformed looked at each other, excitement evident on their faces. "Ready!" one of them shouted, as if to indicate that they were impatient to test this new power.
Zero stepped back, giving them space to act. "Come on, prove your potential," he said, placing high hopes on his team's newfound abilities.
With steady steps, one of the Kuro no Kishidan members stepped forward, reaching out and focusing on the pile of metal in front of them. They felt a new energy flow through their bodies, and with a single movement, they lifted the pile of metal with ease, as if it were just a pile of dried leaves.
Cheers and applause echoed around the training ground. "Amazing!" Rakshata exclaimed, seemingly amazed by the results. "Now, let's try something heavier."
They continued their testing, moving on to heavier military vehicles. Each attempt brought new excitement and curiosity. Although they had incredible strength now, Zero was confident that he could defeat them if they had the will to rebel, so he was not worried that there were a few more people with supernatural powers. Zero continued to watch his team's every move closely.
As the day grew dark and the testing continued, Zero knew that their journey had only just begun.
