Chapter 23: Time skip
Every happy moment seemed to pass so quickly. Now, the year had changed, and Noah, who was now 13 years old, felt as if it was just yesterday that he celebrated his 12th birthday. And the promise he made with Kanata was getting closer along with the start of the new semester of Hagun Academy and the plot of Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry. As he stepped out into the courtyard, a familiar figure caught his attention.
In the middle of a garden filled with colorful flowers, Noah saw Edelweiss, or as she affectionately called Ais. The white-haired girl was enjoying a cake while taking care of the flowers around her. Her smile always managed to charm Noah, and this time was no different.
"Good morning, Ais," Noah greeted cheerfully, approaching her.
"Good morning too, Noah," Edelweiss replied, her smile never fading.
Ever since they had known each other, Edelweiss felt that Noah's presence had brought new color to her initially monotonous life.
With his cheerful attitude, Noah tried to make Edelweiss smile more often.
"How about we fight again today?" Noah asked, excitement radiating from his face.
"Sure," Edelweiss replied with a smile, her eyes sparkling. The two of them then walked towards the place where they first fought.

"Aeternum," Noah chanted the words that would become the symbol of their fight.
"Testament," Edelweiss replied, readying her weapon.
Ding...ding...ding...
The sound of metal clashing filled the air, accompanied by explosions every time their swords touched. The fight was intense, and Noah felt adrenaline flowing through him. He had trained hard for the past year, and now, he could match the notoriously tough Edelweiss.
After hours of fighting, they stopped for a moment. The once neat ground was now littered with the scars of battle: holes and sword slashes everywhere.
"Noah," Edelweiss breathed heavily, "I'm exhausted."
Noah saw it, and he quickly supported the tired-looking Edelweiss. "Let me fix your clothes," Noah said as he reached for the torn fabric.
They both laughed, a warm atmosphere enveloping them. The sky began to turn orange as the sun set, creating a romantic atmosphere. Noah looked at Edelweiss, who looked like a mystical Valkyrie in the afternoon sunlight.
Unconsciously, Noah moved closer. In an instant, their lips touched. Edelweiss was surprised, but she immediately closed her eyes and felt the warmth of the kiss. Although she usually looked innocent, Edelweiss knew very well what this moment meant. She accepted the kiss with full awareness, realizing that Noah had brought new color to her life.
After a while, they separated. A silver thread connected their lips before finally breaking.
"Ais, I love you," Noah said sincerely, holding Edelweiss' hand. "Even though I already have a lover, I want to have you completely. Will you accept it?"
Edelweiss smiled softly. "Stupid, of course, as long as you don't leave me."
Noah felt happy hearing that answer. He hugged Edelweiss tightly, promising in his heart to always be there for her.
Two months later, Noah and Edelweiss were walking around the streets of Estonia, Edelweiss's home country. Today was a special day—their first date. Edelweiss, who hadn't been out for a long time, seemed confused about where to go.
"How about we walk around Estonia?" Noah offered, wanting to show Edelweiss the beauty of the country.
Edelweiss nodded, her eyes sparkling. "I like that idea!"
They began to explore the streets filled with cafes and small shops. Noah felt a surge of excitement when he saw Edelweiss acting cheerfully, like a child seeing the world for the first time.
"Look, that looks delicious!" Edelweiss exclaimed, pointing towards a cake shop.
"Then let's try it!" Noah replied, excited.
They entered the cake shop, and Noah immediately ordered. "Uncle, two portions of each menu," he said to the seller.
"Please wait a moment," the vendor replied kindly.
Soon, all the dishes were served on their table. Noah prepared the food for Edelweiss, feeding the girl a piece of cake.
"Aa," Noah requested, and Edelweiss opened her mouth.
After that, Edelweiss took Noah's place, feeding him with a cheerful smile. Every mouthful brought laughter and happiness to both of them. After eating, they continued their journey, exploring every corner of Estonia filled with history and beauty.

During the journey, Noah felt an indescribable happiness. He knew that Edelweiss was an important part of his life, and he wanted to take care of her. However, he also knew that he had another lover, which complicated their situation.
"Hey, Ais," Noah began, "have you ever thought about our future?"
Edelweiss looked at him, her face a little serious. "You mean about us?"
"No, not just us. About everything," Noah replied. "I have other lovers, but I want to have a harem. I want you to be an important part of my life."
Edelweiss fell silent, thinking about Noah's words. "Does that mean you'll love all of us?"
Noah nodded. "I love you, and I love everyone else. I want to share my feelings with everyone who matters to me."
Edelweiss smiled, though there was a hint of doubt in her eyes. "As long as you don't leave me, I'll accept it."
Noah was relieved to hear that answer. "I promise, Ais. You're the most precious part of my life."
Back in Edelberg, Noah and Edelweiss continued to train. They were both getting stronger, and the bond between them was getting deeper.
"Ready to fight again?" Noah asked, raising his spear.
"Yes," Edelweiss replied enthusiastically.
The two of them fought as if there were no limits. Each attack brought them closer together, and each victory became a reason to celebrate their success.
During training, Noah began planning to introduce Edelweiss to his other lovers. He knew that this would require courage and sincerity. He wanted all his loved ones to feel comfortable and accept each other.
