Uzumaki Kushina sat in the empty seat next to Natsuo.
After sitting down, Kushina felt the atmosphere was quite strange. Many students were looking at her and Natsuo with peculiar expressions.
Masada Hayabusa clapped his hands and said, "Alright, let's start the class."
During the lesson, Kushina frequently glanced at Natsuo. She wondered why he was so isolated. Given her own isolation, she assumed he must have a bad character. But he didn't seem unpleasant at all. He looked handsome and wasn't intimidating. He also paid close attention during class.
Despite it being their first encounter, Kushina found herself with a favorable impression of Natsuo. Most importantly, he hadn't laughed at her when the others did. Typically, someone as good-looking as Natsuo should be quite popular. Why, then, was he isolated?

Could it be that sitting next to him was burdensome for her? Natsuo thought that since Kushina was new, she probably didn't know about his reputation yet. He found the situation puzzling but couldn't dwell on it too much because something exciting was happening.
After witnessing Kushina's arrival, Natsuo finally gathered the last 50 witness points to activate his system.

Natsuo felt a surge of excitement. He had finally gathered 100 witness points.
"Activate," he commanded internally.
A virtual panel appeared before Natsuo's eyes, startling him. He glanced nervously at Kushina next to him. She seemed distracted, staring blankly at the blackboard with her chin resting on her hands. No one else seemed to notice the panel either.
Natsuo breathed a sigh of relief. While he assumed others couldn't see the virtual panel, he still felt anxious about it.

Natsuo was puzzled. "One-fifth Sharingan status Kakashi? What does that mean?"
He noticed an 'Exchange Shop' option under his character panel. When he opened it, he was dazzled by the range of abilities available, from basic techniques to advanced bloodline limits.
The system's voice spoke again.
[Remind the Host that if the Host does not have the prerequisites for an ability, the witness points required to redeem it will be increased fivefold. Each time a major event is witnessed, the system will randomly provide three rewards for the Host to choose from. These rewards are not limited to the ninja world but will not exceed the capabilities of the ninja world.]
Natsuo asked, "So, if I don't have the conditions to awaken the Ice Release bloodline limit, the witness points required to redeem it would be five times the normal price. But if I have the prerequisites, like Water and Wind Chakra, the price is normal?"

Natsuo considered his options. He quickly dismissed the Swim Swim Fruit. The ability to swim on land or walls didn't seem practical. As for the Sharingan, while tempting, he already possessed Uchiha blood. If he could awaken the Sharingan naturally, or even purchase it at a standard price from the exchange shop, it seemed unnecessary to use his reward on it.
What Natsuo truly needed was an immediate boost in strength. The Breath of Thunder's sword techniques, combined with the thunder attribute chakra changes, seemed perfect for him. It would provide a significant power-up and was more immediately useful than the other options.
Natsuo recalled a saying, "A sword, wielded in mastery, is peerless for a season." This suited him perfectly. Plus, mastering thunder chakra forms would greatly enhance his abilities.
"System, I choose reward two!"
[Does the Host want to receive the rewards now?]
Natsuo hesitated. "What happens if I receive the reward now?"
[The Host's body will be temporarily taken over to simulate the thunder attribute chakra form change and nature transformation, allowing the Host to master them. Additionally, all sword forms of Breath of Thunder will be transmitted into the Host's mind for immediate mastery.]
Natsuo quickly refused. "No, don't receive it now!"

Natsuo sighed in relief. If the system took over his body in class to master these techniques, he might attract too much unwanted attention.
With the system now activated and the reward available to claim whenever needed, Natsuo felt more secure. He didn't plan to hide his abilities excessively. In the ninja world, strength was essential for survival and respect.
However, he knew not to reveal his full strength immediately. There had to be a gradual process, or the leaders of Konoha, paranoid as they were, might take drastic actions against him.
Natsuo decided to wait until he got home to claim his reward. Improving his strength would make life in Konoha easier and less dependent on others' opinions. In this world, the strong thrived, and he intended to be among them.
