Chapter 52: lead the way

Xiao Fei was making her way back to her dorm when suddenly a hand landed on her shoulder. 

"Where are yo-" a male voice began, but before he could finish, Xiao Fei had already grabbed the offending arm, twisted it, and used the momentum to throw the person over her shoulder.

The resounding thud of a body hitting the ground drew the attention of nearby students. A hush fell over the area as shocked faces turned to stare at them.

Xiao Fei blinked innocently, looking down at the groaning figure sprawled on the concrete. 

"Why?" Luo Weichen moaned, his face contorted in pain. "What did I do to deserve this?"

Xiao Fei's expression remained impassive as she replied matter-of-factly, "You touched me."

Luo Weichen's eyes widened in disbelief. "You broke my back just because I put my arm on your shoulder? I thought we were friends!"
