Chapter 4: A place to stay?
The door slowly opened, revealing a crew of three and others behind them, and man this ginger woman or rather Curly Dadan was meaning mugging me.
'Fuck she's scary, looks bigger than Shaq' I smiled and confidently said "Yo!" What was her response? A jab to my head of course, Dadan was big sure, but I could without a doubt take her out, however, Garp would do my head in if he found out.
"Wait! I had to knock him out, the runt was attacking me woman!"
"Runt?" This time all of her crew rushed towards me.
'Fuck's sake'. With Ace in tow, I dashed behind towards Dogra, they couldn't follow my speed at all.
I choked him with my right hand making him drop his weapon. "Gonna listen now?" Dadan looked a little shocked but she replied "Fine, let them both go then we can talk".
Why did I target Dogra? No particular reason, he's a little ugly that's all, no offence. I then dropped Ace and let go of Dogra.
Dadan quickly grabbed Ace and placed him behind her. Dogra caught his breath and stood next to Dadan again.
"You know, if I wanted to harm you all then I wouldn't be trying to have a civil conversation would I?"
Dadan sniggered, "Who knows what you want".
"You're gonna have to listen to me ramble but it's a short story I swear" I replied
"Fine, make it quick"
With a sad look on my face, "My memory isn't in tact but all I know is my name is Ray and I was by myself for half a year further into the forest, I have no recollection of my family or how I got there but I did my best. Spent months fighting and getting stronger just so I could survive, I was losing my mind you know, by myself and all. Then as I made my way here, this kid attacked me, I look a little rough but I was being truthful and nice to him. Wouldn't listen so I knocked him out, nothing major I swear" I finished my story with both my hands up wanting to look innocent.
Dadan looking less hostile, "Assuming you aren't lying, what do you want?"
"Hmm, I'm not sure but probably a place to sleep and eat, I can bring you guys food from hunting instead of money of staying" with a pleading look.
"A place to stay you say? Alright you can stay here for now but no funny business, we may not be able to harm you but there's an old bastard I know and he'll pound your head into the ground if you harm Ace"
Smiling as well as bowing, "Thank you mam, I mean it, oh and the runt's called Ace? Nice to know"
Dadan looked annoyed at me calling Ace a runt but she shrugged it off. She turned around to Magra, "Oi get him some new clothes, Garp will kill me if he sees this bastard by dressed like that, also you stink you brat".
"Bit harsh there mam" I jokingly said.
"Fuck off" replied Dadan as she headed inside with Ace and her crew in tow.
Magra inspected me for a moment before saying, "Follow me kid, we'll see if something fits ya"
"Yes Sir!" I replied, Magra smirking at my response.
A few days later...
"Eat this!" Ace shouted as he swung his pipe horizontally at my knees with all his might. I simply leaped over little attempt at hitting me, causing Ace to scowl as he had yet to hit me even once. "Man you're weak, AHAHAHAAHA!" I started laughing as I pointed at him.
Ace looking annoyed but surprisingly didn't lunge at me like he had been doing the past few days. "Hey, how did you get strong?" I looked a little surprised at his response but I said smugly, "I'm not strong, you're just weak... runt" Ace clenched his jaws, I think he wasn't a fan of his nickname. "Just wait till I'm older, I'll beat you in no time" Ace then turned around and went into the house.
'To be honest, he's stronger than I give him credit for but I doubt he trains all day like I do, pointless having a big ego as a child anyway'. Now, all I had to do was wait for a certain man to arrive.
A month later...
"Hah, finally convinced Sengoku for a little vacation, although I might stay a little later than I told him I would, Bwa hah hah hah" Garp laughed as he made his way up Mt. Colubo, however, something caught his attention.
He noticed a new presence with his Observation Haki in Dadan's home. "Interesting" Garp smirked and then vanished like he had teleported...
