Chapter 92: Covered in Bite Marks
At the entrance to the Uchiha compound in Konoha, Natsuhane limped through the gate and ran into Kurenai Yuhi.
Seeing Natsuhane's disheveled state, Kurenai covered her mouth, laughing. "Oh wow, it looks like Lady Tsunade really went hard on you..."
"Kurenai, stop teasing me. If you could, I'd like to go to your room and get a massage. Would you mind?" Natsuhane asked.
"What's wrong? Is your back hurting?" Kurenai inquired.
"No, you're mistaken! My whole body hurts except for my back. Quick, I really need your massage now..."
"I'm not going to help you!" Kurenai pouted and turned her head away.
"Uh... Kurenai, are you jealous?" Natsuhane asked cautiously.
"Tch! I'm not that petty. I know you're doing this to revive the clan. It's just that seeing you in this state for the first time is amusing. Come on, let's go home," Kurenai said, grabbing Natsuhane's hand and gently rubbing the bite marks on his arm.
"Hehe, I knew you were the best to me. You say you won't help, but your actions say otherwise," Natsuhane teased.
"Stop saying nonsense. I just want to rub these bite marks down. If others see them on the street, they'll gossip that you've been abused," Kurenai explained.
"Hehe, you're so considerate," Natsuhane said.
Hand in hand, they walked back to Kurenai's house within the Uchiha compound.
As soon as they entered, Natsuhane hurried towards the bedroom, eager for Kurenai's massage. But before he could step inside, he noticed someone lying on the bed, wrapped in a blanket, snoring softly.
"?" Natsuhane was puzzled.
"Who is it?" He was about to rush in when Kurenai quickly pulled him back.
"Shh! What are you doing? Keep your voice down and don't disturb her rest!" Kurenai whispered, putting a finger to her lips. "The person on the bed is Shizune."
"Huh?" Natsuhane was surprised. "Shizune? Why is she sleeping in your room?"
Kurenai pulled Natsuhane to the living room sofa and explained everything about Shizune to him.
Yesterday, Shizune had come to the Uchiha compound to fill out her personal resume. In her impatience, she stood at the gate all day waiting for Natsuhane to return, refusing to leave.
In the evening, Kurenai found Shizune still there, looking disappointed.
Shizune knew that one day wasn't enough and that Tsunade wouldn't let Natsuhane go that night either.
With no other option, Kurenai took Shizune to a bar within the compound, watching her drink all night.
After hearing Kurenai's story, Natsuhane finally understood.
"Natsuhane, did you know that Shizune spent the whole night saying all sorts of sweet things about you? I always thought she was shy, but I never expected to see this side of her..." Kurenai said.
"She only saw you once and didn't even know your name, yet she's so devoted. Come on, tell me, what kind of love potion did you give her?"
Natsuhane sighed inwardly: What love potion? It's all thanks to the power of the "Ninja Art: Heart-to-Heart Technique."
"System, you deserve a thumbs up!" Natsuhane thought.
[Hehe, I told you, everything from this system is top quality! Guaranteed excellence!] the old system boasted.
Ignoring the system's self-satisfaction, Natsuhane explained to Kurenai, "I didn't use any love potion. It's just that your husband has such overwhelming charm that he attracts women like you, who are gentle and kind."
"Tch, you're such a smooth talker. You have plenty of gentle wives, I can't compare to them," Kurenai responded.
"No, no, you're the most gentle," Natsuhane insisted.
"Really?" Kurenai asked.
"Of course," Natsuhane confirmed.
"Hehe, that's good to hear. Now, lie down. I'll help you with those bruises. Oh my... so many bite marks," Kurenai said.
"I don't know why... I only noticed them this morning when I was getting dressed," Natsuhane said.
"Tsk tsk... I didn't expect Lady Tsunade to have such a fetish. Does it hurt?" Kurenai asked.
"It's not too painful, just a bit numb," Natsuhane replied.
"Forget it. I can't handle this with my skills. Since it's your master's fault, let her apprentice help you," Kurenai decided.
"Wait... Kurenai? Where are you going?" Natsuhane asked as Kurenai left the room.
Kurenai didn't respond, heading straight into the bedroom.
A few moments later, several surprised exclamations came from the bedroom:
"Ah!!!!"
"Kurenai, what did you say? Natsuhane is back? In the living room??"
"No way, my hair is a mess. Do you have a brush I can borrow?"
Five minutes later.
Kurenai led Shizune out of the bedroom.
As soon as Shizune saw Natsuhane, she trembled, her heart pounding.
In the small living room, the sound of her heartbeat was exceptionally clear.
Shizune's face turned beet red, like a girl just discovering love, nervously hiding behind Kurenai, too shy to speak.
Seeing Shizune's behavior, Kurenai couldn't help but laugh. "Hehe... Shizune, this isn't like you. Last night at the bar, you couldn't stop talking about your feelings. Why so quiet now?"
Shizune, clutching her clothes, nervously stammered, "I... I just...!"
"Alright, I didn't wake you up to see you shy. Natsuhane is hurt and needs your help," Kurenai explained.
"Natsuhane is hurt?" Shizune was shocked. Her face paled, and she quickly rushed to Natsuhane, checking him over. "Where... where are you hurt? Huh? Who did this? Just the abs alone have eight bite marks! Who bit you so much? A dog?!"
"Uh..." Natsuhane hesitated. "Actually... these bite marks are from Tsunade..."
"..." Hearing her master's name, Shizune seemed to remember something.
"I think I said something wrong. Please don't tell my master..." Shizune pleaded.
Kurenai laughed. "Don't worry, we won't tell Lady Tsunade. Instead of worrying about that, focus on helping Natsuhane with his bruises."
"Oh, okay!" Shizune nodded repeatedly, using her professional skills to gently massage Natsuhane's "wounds."
"Huff..." As time passed, Shizune's breathing noticeably quickened.
Seeing this, Kurenai smiled and shook her head.
"Shizune, I'm going out for a while and will be back in the evening. Take your time with the massage, there's no rush..."
