Chapter 127: Chapter 126

[London. Grimmauld Place.]

Near a tall tree, located in the very centre of a small park, stood a young man, in whose hand lay a bouquet of roses, while his gaze was fixed upwards, towards the bright blue sky, with only a small amount of white clouds. "This morning would be especially beautiful if it weren't for this uncomfortable body…" A tired sigh escaped the wizard's mouth, remembering how he had to puzzle over the correct proportions for the Clone Potion all night and even after spending almost fifteen hours on it, he still couldn't finish it anyway, all Severus could do was just a raw version with reverse control.

The Clone Potion was the basic potion taught to almost all beginners, because although it was easy to make, it had a huge number of flaws that made it almost completely useless.

The mere fact that the strength of the clone did not exceed the rank of "Apprentice" was the worst of them, since any "Journeyman" could almost easily see through a fake, and it was not worth talking about stronger magicians.

But, that was all he could think, in such a short time, because although he knew one spell that allows you to create a clone, he also had one fat flaw, and that is, he could only move one kilometre from the real body otherwise he would disappear.

"Although I'm already used to it, but…" clenching his fist, he smiled wryly, "…it's still very inconvenient…" an indifferent female voice sounded, pulling him out of his thoughts and looking up, his smile became more playful at the sight of that familiar, cold face and dark eyes.

"I just realised that you can't keep such a beautiful girl waiting," he handed her a bouquet, which she silently accepted and almost imperceptibly nodded, "Today I prepared a little for our date, yet due to my sudden departure, we had to miss whole two hours, so take this as an apology…"

As soon as Severus approached her, Bellatrix thought that he wanted to kiss her again, from which she furrowed her brows and looked at him with displeasure, but did not retreat, preparing to meet his "attack" , at the same time, unconsciously, the woman leaned forward a little and closed her eyes, but the next moment, a groan escaped from her lips and opened her eyes in shock, she saw the impudent grin of the wizard, who a second earlier gently bit her earlobe, from which a traitorous blush appeared on Bella's pale face. "Next time, Squirrel."

"What you…!" Taking in air into her lungs, Bellatrix already wanted to say what she thinks about his jokes, but at the last moment, she noticed a golden bracelet with red gems on her hand. "It's your own fault, you shouldn't have substituted yourself, but this is my gift, as an apology for such a long absence," taking her hand, he looked into her eyes warmly, from which she was taken aback for a moment, because Snape, very rarely looked at her like that, "Well, was I able to please you? and only after the second phrase, Bellatrix came to her senses and abruptly pulled her hands away, she quickly turned away.

"Tsy! No, I couldn't, I have hundreds of such knick-knacks!"

"That's how …" embracing her from behind, a familiar smile crept over his face again, which irritated the woman a little, and then, approaching Bellatrix's ear, he weakly breathed into it, which made her shudder, "Then I will try next time to do something better than this, so that you will definitely like it."

"Let go…" even though Bellatrix tried to harden her voice, but it sounded rather weak, and it was impossible to look at her attempts to escape without tears.

"Then promise me you'll never take it off and I'll let you go."

"Oh …" saying this the Severus again bit the lobe of her ear, "... I swear!"

"That's nice," as soon as he loosened his grip, she abruptly recoiled, like a cat whose tail was stepped on and very unkindly began to drill it with a frown, with a slight blush on her cheeks, "Then let's go," the magician said with difficulty suppressing laughter, putting out the elbow but the woman stared at him suspiciously and did not dare to approach, fearing that he would try to do it again, yet her ears were one of her weaknesses, which is why earlier, she reacted so brightly to Snape's innocent advances, "Don't be afraid, I won't bite ... probably…"

"Maybe it's enough already? Are you taking advantage of the fact that I can't answer you?"

"A little, but even if you could, you would not succeed."

"Do you think I'm weak?"  She asked, squinting uncomfortably.

"No, that's why I fell in love with you, because you are much more worthy of being called a real witch than others, so enough stupid questions, let's go." She looked at his face for some more time, as if trying to find something, but still taking a deep breath, Bellatrix shook her head and, going up to him, she took his arm. "You are the strangest person I have come across since Master."

" Shall I take it as a compliment?" he looked into her eyes with a smile, and finally moving from their place, they headed along the stone path, along a small flower bed, towards the exit from the park.

"You can say that, usually everyone tries to avoid me, even my "fiance", but in the very first meeting you did something for which others would never have left that lane."

" And I will continue to do this, because I will definitely never let you go, accept it, as soon as you caught my eye, you have already become mine."

"Don't hope, you forgot that I'm getting married soon," she looked with a mocking voice towards a small playground where Muggle children were playing tag.

"This can always be corrected, but with a fatal outcome," severus drawled in an even tone, from which the aristocrat jumped into her fist. "To speak so calmly about someone's death… are you sure you're a light wizard?"

"And who knows, I would rather call myself a "grey wizard."

"Grey?" Bellatrix looked at him puzzled.

"Not "light" and not "dark", therefore "gray", because I do not shy away from getting my hands dirty with blood, but I do it very rarely, but at the same time, I try not to touch the innocent. I personally don't understand why you even seek to destroy muggle-borns? Isn't that stupid? There are not so many of us wizards anyway, at most a few thousand, and instead of allowing this number to grow, you, on the contrary, destroy your own kind and every day, there are fewer of us, tell me, why are you doing this?" looking into the eyes of a gloomy woman, Severus calmly asked, "I understand Tom, who was angry at all Muggles because of his Muggle father, who left his mother because of which she died and he himself, a descendant of Salazar Slytherin ended up in an orphanage, the motive is more or less clear, but why do the rest hate them?" while he was saying these "insulting words", Snape used the seal in the body of Bellatrix to know exactly how she felt and to his surprise, although she was angry with him, the anger was not as strong as before, it was rather echoes of the old Bella , the real one, though displeasedly looked in his direction, but still thought about his words.

"I wouldn't call it hatred, rather hostility, imagine if someone comes to your house and starts dictating their own rules, would you like it?" in response, the magician only shook his head with a smile, "That's the problem, almost all Muggle-born wizards contemptuously treat our traditions and centuries-old foundations, constantly trying to bring something of their own into our world of magic, when it is simply not needed, we go completely different paths, when Muggles develop their technologies, we go along the path of magic. We don't get into Muggle affairs, but Muggle-borns, like cockroaches, try to crawl into every hole and dictate their own rules: how and what to do, where we are wrong, why this is so, and not so, and therefore in the Ministry in important positions, there is not a single Muggle-born wizard. We simply will not be allowed to live if one of them manages to go upstairs and you don't have to go far for an example, the same Nobby Leach, a Muggle-born who could become the Minister of Magic, but in the end was cursed and left his post."

"But he still managed to hold out for six whole years as Minister."

"Only for the reason that he behaved like a Minister of Magic, but in the last two years, he began to push some laws and amendments that violated the foundations of the World of Magic, which is why he was removed from his post."

"I see, but as I understand it, the "genocide" of Muggles and Muggle-born wizards is mainly the prerogative of Tom and the most ardent admirers of his ideologue, and the rest simply seek to help only for the sake of their bright future, which will come after his victory?"

Leaving the park, they walked along the sidewalk towards a nearby restaurant. "Roughly speaking, yes," the woman replied calmly, lowering her gaze to the bracelet and frowning slightly, she looked at the smiling wizard. "Did you notice?"

" It's hard not to pay attention," she again looked at the bracelet and began to study it with interest, "Before, I would have sent you away and would not answer your questions, but when the conversation turned to the Master, I could calmly use Crucio."

"This artifact should be able to contain your madness, but not get rid of it, but I will think of something to help you, get rid of this "birth curse" forever, if you want to turn it off, just say: "I love Snape"

For a moment, her right eye twitched, she felt like she suddenly wanted to smother him with her trademark spell, but this feeling quickly disappeared, "Total five seconds to suppress."

"So it was just a test," the woman drawled with relief.

"No, this is not a test."

Bella again really wanted to crack him, but she restrained herself again, although she poked him in the side once and only then calmed down. "You are still a strange person."

"I know and now have fun and no talk about work! Otherwise, I'll bite…" especially after the last words, Bellatrixquickly covered her left ear and looked displeasedly at the grinning Severus, who then sincerely laughed at her reaction… ,
