Later in the evening, Snape finally "came" to his senses and after getting examined by Madam Pomfrey, he left the medical wing, heading towards the Hogwarts dungeon, where the Slytherin common room was located. And after he went down the stairs and reached the wall decorated with skulls, the young man said - "pure blood", which is the very password, thanks to which the wall moved aside.
As soon as the wizard was in the living room, the previously chatting students immediately turned their attention to Snape, while sending encouraging smiles and nods in his direction, slightly confusing him.
"Here he is, our star," a cheerful voice sounded and Snape was approached by the head boy of the house, the same guy who had previously stood up for him before Slughorn.
"Something happened?" Snape arched his eyebrow, puzzled.
"Don't pretend you don't know, you took a hundred points from Gryffindor in two days, not many people can do that," some of the Slytherins also nodded, confirming Macmillan's words.
"Of course, I'm glad I could help," and without saying anything else, Snape headed towards the bedrooms, "Today I'm tired, if you want to talk or discuss something, I'll be in my room."
From these words, many students immediately began to look after him with displeasure, because they were difficult people, and they did not like how arrogantly the young man behaved.
The headboy himself, on this account, did not say anything, but only saying goodbye, went about his business, yet, he knew more than the rest what really happened and where Severus was all this time, so he did not say anything, and it would be easier to win him over to their side in the future when the others spoiled relationship with him.
Still, he was very interested in Snape, but not only because of his gift in Potions.
Indeed, even at the first meeting, it seemed to him that something had changed in the previously silent and rather downtrodden young man, and this change interested him very much. Yes, and this year, Macmillan will graduate from Hogwarts and another chance to build a good relationship with such a person is unlikely to come.
Therefore, he behaved with him quite politely in order to leave a good impression of himself.

Finally ending up in his room and quickly scanning it for tracking charms, he fell face down on the bed on the pillow.
"Another day has come to an end," rolling over onto his back, he directed his palm towards the bedside table from which an inkwell and a quill flew out, as well as a simple sheet of paper, "Hmm, I think I'll need his help"
... After a few minutes, the pen stopped writing, and the sheet was rolled up.
"I should find an owl…" - but in the next moment, information about the owl house, which was located in the left wing of Hogwarts, surfaced in his head, "That's great, then…" rising, he opened the drawer and took out a small, tinkling bag, from which ten gold coins, called galleons, and seven silver coins, called sickles, fell on the bed, "Not rich, I should find a way to earn extra money ... eh … who would've thought that I would end up in a new world after my death … WAIT!" jumping out of bed, the young man's eyes lit up, "That might work, since the runes from my world work here, but I will need materials, and there is a forest nearby…"

After brainstorming, Snape decided to pursue his business idea the very next evening.
All day long, the young man spent in the library studying as much information as he could on the layout of the castle, comparing the current building plan with older ones he could find while rummaging through the regular section. But, what is most interesting, a break in the entire library, under the disapproving look of Madam Pince, Snape was able to find a drawing only for one thousand seven hundred and eightieth, he did not find any older ones, which upset the young man, and also made him happy, because it meant that by this, they wanted to hide something, although it was possible that they were simply lost, but Snape was sure of the first.
Likewise, the Archmage examined the water supply system and sewer drawings, but as with the past, with the exception of data from the seventeen hundred and eighties, he did not find anything else. But Snape understood well that it was impossible to hide anything so simply, because in addition to the drawings, there were also historical textbooks.
In one of these textbooks, he found some rather interesting information about a certain Corvin Gaunt (Gaunt), who in 1750 was installing the plumbing system at Hogwarts.
Perhaps there was nothing interesting in this, if not for one huge "BUT" in the form of the fact that the Gaunts were the descendants of Salazar Slytherin, one of the greatest Wizard s who founded Hogwarts. And, as it is not for Snape to understand how arrogant the aristocrats, and especially the purebloods, are, just offer any student from Slytherin to do this, they would simply twist their finger at their temples and send the proposer, but Gaunt, without any problems, agreed to rummage, we can say that in the waste and lay pipes and plumbing.
By itself, such an idea was very crazy and therefore, Snape was hooked on it. And although he found almost nothing, the wizard felt that he was on the right track...

When evening came, the Wizard left the library, but before he had gone even a couple of steps, he stopped and looked with slight surprise at the cat of gray-ash color with dark stripes, which, slightly puffing out its chest, looked at him with a dangerous brilliance.
A cheerful smile appeared on Snape's lips, which made the fur on the cat's back stand on end… At the same time, as if sensing something was wrong, an elderly man hurried to the scene.
His wrinkled face looked very menacing… the gloomy, always focused pale eyes, in which the flame burned, frightened every student that the old man ran past. And when he heard a pitiful meow, his face was distorted, and even Usain Bolt would envy his speed.
Running around the corner, he glared furiously at the young man in whose arms the cat was lying. "LET GO MISS NORRIS!"
"So is this your cat?" Snape looked up and asked him with a smile, stroking the rather purring animal, "Miss Norris? Nice name," he nodded, looking at the dazed man, "can I play with her a little more?"
"Miss Norris…"
"~Meow…" the cat meowed languidly, wagging its tail from Snape's strokes.
Finally coming to his senses, Argus looked up in disgust at the face of Severus, who dared to touch his dearest "person" in the world. And when he was about to shout furiously at the insolent student, Filch heard something that made him freeze for a moment.
"I see you take good care of her, it's rare to find such well-groomed cats, the coat, in addition to a pleasant smell and shine, is very soft and fluffy. Her eyes are bright without a single spot and discharge in the corners, and she herself is very cheerful."
The figure… For the next ten minutes, he continued to express his opinion about the cat, as well as give advice on care, from which the man even had to take out a piece of paper and start writing down the Wizard . "… but still, I would review her diet."
"Something is wrong?" Argus asked him uneasily, believing in the young man's "mastery", coming close to him and looking uneasily at Miss Norris.
"No, so far all is good," poking her in the nose, she opened her mouth slightly, "Do you feel this slightly unpleasant smell?"
Argus sniffed and nodded seriously. "This already speaks of an imbalance in the body, we need to change her diet a little, wait a second," taking a piece of paper from Argus, on the other side, using a pen, Snape quickly wrote a balanced diet, most suitable for cats, nevertheless, his father was a cat lover and "taught" a lot, or rather, forced Snape to learn, but still, the Wizard himself liked cats very much, "Don't let her eat too much, it won't lead to anything good."
" ~ Meow!" Hearing a disgruntled meow, The wizard smiled warmly and began to stroke her head. " Play with her more often, your attention is very important to her."
"I see, I understand," Argus nodded, reading the new diet and, as if the most precious thing, he folded the sheet in half and carefully put it into the inside pocket of his dark yellow jacket.
"Well, I won't distract you anymore," handing the cat over to Filch, he turned around and simply left, under the respectful gaze of an elderly man. And only a minute later, the old man came to his senses and looked dumbfounded in the direction where the young Wizard had gone. "He tricked me…"
" ~ Mrrrr… meow…" As he looked down at Ms. Norris, Argus' face immediately warmed up.
"Okay, today I'll pretend that I didn't see him, let's go Miss Norris, we need to catch four more violators," grinning ominously, he released the cat and she, sensing the old man's mood, "meowed" unkindly,

At the same time, Snape had already left the Castle, heading towards the huge tree on the school grounds…
