Chapter 42: The Trance

While Baraion was leaving, Ekta suddenly called his name and ran after him.

"Baraion!"

But he didn't stop. She again called him. "Baraion, darling." She ran up to him and pulled his arm.

"What?" he turned and shouted at her.

She was taken aback but asked sweetly, "where are you going, darling? I thought we were supposed to spend the night together."

He rolled his eyes and shouted, "Oh, shut up!" And he left leaving Ekta shocked. Her jaw dropped to the floor. She looked at Baraion's back walking away from her.

Looking at her talking to Baraion, Samantha felt jealous. She came running to them but Baraion ran away from them. "Where is he going?" asked Samantha. "We were supposed to spend the night together."

Ekta looked up and down at Samantha and repeated the words Baraion just said, "Oh, shut up!"

"What? What did I say?" Samantha was appalled. Ekta walked away from her.
