"Ow! Is it that serious?" She whispered, and pinched his exposed neck, earning a hiss from the man.
"Tonight," the priestess said, "Is the day on which we celebrate the moon goddess, our protector. Today is the day on which the moon goddess gave birth to her firstborn, Yiel, the king of all alphas. And with his birth, did our race begin, found its place and grew into what it is today. We've been protected, guided, loved and showered with her mercy and benevolence. We've been thought, led and chosen by her, irrespective of what we've each manifested into."
Stella scoffed at the last few words, rolling her eyes nastily. Sure, and yet her kinds are considered a taint to their race and treated like trash, merely for being anything but the loved pure omegas. Not even the betas had it well, they were just as overlooked and only the alphas and pure omegas seemed to ever enjoy her so called mercy and benevolence.
