She shoved him back and before he could even make sense of anything, she stood up and ran into the bathroom, slamming the door shut. She locked it and pressed her back against the door to slid down to the floor on her bottom.
What the hell is this? Like something switched inside me. She breathed heavily, trying to catch her breath that seemed to be running from her for no reason. Maybe, maybe it was because he was so close. Heck, that wasn't even true in the slightest. This was not the first time she'd ever been that close to him, and she'd always known he was that beautiful even though she never admitted it to herself. She was attracted to him, yet…something about earlier was different—so different that she didn't know what was going on for a second.
