The middle aged man stared at her. He stepped closer to her and grabbed her hands with a fatherly warmth in his brown eyes. "You're a good girl, child. And I am really sorry for whatever you might have gone through. No one should deserve to be outcasted merely for what they didn't choose to be." 

"Thank you, sir." She cracked a smile. 

"It's Mr. Marcos." 

"Thank you, Mr. Marcos." 

"You can pick the working apron from the changing room. You looked through the files I gave you right?" 

She nodded. "I did." 

"Do you think you can handle this, Stella?" 

She nodded, drawing an even bigger smile. "You don't have to worry about me Mr. Marco, I'll be fine." 

"Are you sure?" 

"Yes." 

"Well, then, I'll be in the back. Call me if you need anything, alright? Do not hesitate."
