Chapter 51: Vincent

STELLA was confused, wondering what was even going on. But even still, she did as he wanted and closed her eyes.

He was all she could think of, the only words booming in her head, keeping her from even doing what the man next to her wanted. And at the last fifth number, she wasn't able to say even a single word to him.  

How could she? She was conflicted and confused, not knowing what to think, what to say, or what to do. Vincent is the man she loves, not… Valeric.  

Valeric's empty heart froze into a piece of lead at her lack of response. The feeling was strange, but it was a pain striking through him like a bullet. He didn't say anything, but he stood up to leave.
