Divine Soul Cultivation, Genesis Rune
The Divine Soul is the spiritual core of a human.
Even if one's original body is destroyed, he/she could still be revived in a new body as long as their main soul exists. In other words, the attacks on the divine soul are deadly.
The divine soul is the most important component to have for Yuan masters to draw Genesis Runes.
Those who possess powerful Divine Souls will be able to draw and analyze high-tier Genesis Runes as well as improve their spiritual and physical perceptions.
The yuan master could also utilize their divine soul to use soul attack or spiritual shock to stun opponents. If the divine soul cultivations between two masters are largely different, the stronger one could simply destroy the weaker one's soul. In other words, it's more deadly than being killed physically and has no chance of revival.

The Realms of Divine Soul
0. Formless Realm - The soul is originally formless. This is the starting stage of the yuan master's divine soul. One could only write rudimentary genesis runes.
1. Illusory Realm - By continuously cultivating the divine soul, it will be able to gain a form. This first stage with a form is called the illusory form. The yuan masters would automatically enter this divine soul's elementary stage when their genesis qi cultivation reaches the Alpha-Origin Realm.
2. Corporeal Realm - The soul's illusory figure will gradually become corporeal, looking almost as if it's solid matter. The rising soul power will allow both physical and spiritual senses to grow sharper, and all surrounding things will appear even clearer than before. The spirit would be capable of leaving the body and performing numerous spiritual attacks, making it even more unfathomable.
3. Materialization Realm - The soul's corporeal figure will have mysterious marks on it, also known as soul Mark - signaling that the soul has reached the minimum requirement of the next stage. When the soul is completely in the Materialization stage, the master would be able to create a soul flame.
Elementary: Able to write seventh-grade genesis runes
Equivalent to the Divine Palace Realm
Intermediate: Able to write eighth-grade genesis runes
Equivalent to the Heavenly Sun Realm
Advanced: Able to write ninth-grade genesis runes
Equivalent to the Nascent Origin Realm
4. God Roaming Realm - This realm of divine soul is equivalent to the Genesis Qi cultivation realm of Law Domain.
This divine soul realm can suppress other people's divine souls and genesis qi.
It is also able to negate the effect of a Law Domain and make a safe space in the Law domain.
This Realm can make the person's divine soul survive without a body and divine soul armor.
5. Saint Soul - This divine soul realm is equivalent to the Saint Realm and can only be achieved when the person's genesis qi cultivation reaches the Saint realm.

Ways To Upgrade Divine Soul:
There are 2 (or 3) ways to strengthen the soul
1. Wait for the genesis qi cultivation to rise and the soul will follow suit and strengthen as well.
This method is rather slow and there is an upper limit to how strong the soul will grow.
2. Practice a Divine Soul Cultivation Art.
Such techniques are very rare, and only a couple of the powerful factions possess them.
3. Use Genesis resources that benefit the soul's growth and power.
The items are extremely sacred and costly. It takes luck to find such items especially when the master's divine soul is in the third level, Materialization Realm.

Genesis Rune
The Genesis Rune is another cultivation way for the Yuan Master besides Genesis Qi. It is harder and more profound to cultivate as it requires deep comprehension and manipulation of the divine soul.
Every Genesis Rune is made from numerous strokes and lines. In general, the more strokes and lines there were, the greater the quality and might of the Genesis Rune formed.
The Genesis Rune is divided into 9 grades. There are also rudimentary Genesis Runes for the Formless Realm before the first-grade Genesis Rune for the Illusory Realm.

Required Items:
There is a must item to draw Genesis Rune, which is known as the Genesis Brush.
It served as the medium of the divine soul and the genesis runes
Only with a brush would one be able to draw the mysterious and profound Genesis Runes, draw in the Genesis Qi of the land, and display great power because the brush helps concentrate the divine soul into one main point at the tip.
If a Yuan master wants to practice Genesis Runes or store them and use them later, he/she would need jade tablets or scrolls as storage items.
Some high-quality or specialized Genesis Runes would require some rare ingredients or materials to make before drawing.
Ex. runes that are specific to cure poisons would need genesis resources as an ingredient
