Genesis Qi Cultivation Art :
When one enters the Qi Nourishing Realm, the genesis qi in the body would remain at the most basic attribute state because he or she has not learned any Qi cultivation arts. This naturally means that his or her attacks do not have any special effects and are much weaker than others.
For instance, a fire-type genesis cultivation art would give the master's genesis qi attribute of fire and explosive power.
After reaching the Qi Nourishing stage, one needs to use one's body as a furnace to refine their genesis qi. To further elaborate, the genesis qi absorbed from the world is the most basic ingredient, while the qi cultivation method is the blueprint or instructions. Genesis resources are supplementary materials that can be added according to the blueprint. It is through refining and fusing all of these various components followed by tempering that one will ultimately be able to create a genesis qi of one's own.
After cultivating a Genesis Qi Cultivation Art, it would form special attributes and effects to the yuan master's genesis qi, body, and soul to increase battle power, such as the dragon-type cultivation art can transform the yuan master's skin to dragon scales to increase defense and attack power, or a earth-type cultivation that increases only defense and endurance.
The Cultivation Art also amplifies the power of outside yuan techniques that are linked to the qi cultivation art's type; for example, a yuan master who cultivates water genesis qi cultivation art would have a better understanding and control of the ice-related yuan techniques.
Eg: elemental arts, sword arts, bloodline arts, body arts, etc.
Genesis Qi Cultivation Arts of Grades 1 to 9 help refine the genesis qi energy inside the body and amplify the yuan techniques that are associated the best with the cultivation art. The cultivation arts each have low-tier to high-tier subdivisions per grade. The higher the grade, the greater influence on the natural genesis qi a yuan master can have, therefore, establishing a subtle influence during battle. The 9 grades are the limits of genesis qi non-God Realm yuan masters can access.
~1st - 3rd grade: normal people would cultivate this grade of cultivation method.
~4th - 6th grade: geniuses or influential nations and sects would cultivate this grade of cultivation method (in the eyes of the Cangmang Continent).
~Grade 4: available to normal Empires or Countries, the royal family cultivation arts.
~Grade 5: available to the top sects in low-level continents.
~Grade 6: available to all Alpha-Origin common disciples of normal top sects in all Heavens.
~7th - 9th grade: only geniuses of geniuses or super-powerful kingdoms and sects could have access to this grade of cultivation method.
~Grade 7: Is given to any Divine Palace Realm, Heavenly Sun Realm, and Nascent Origin Realm.
~Grade 8: Is given to any law domain realm master, and only the Supreme Talent in the Heavenly Sun and Nascent Origin Realm can have(even Wang Xuangyang who is ranked second in the primordial heaven Heavenly Sun Ranking only possess a grade 7 genesis qi cultivation art, a perfect Nascent Origin realm master from the Myriad Ancestor territory was also shown to only possess a grade 7 genesis qi).
~Grade 9: It is the highest genesis qi in the Heaven Origin World. It's extremely rare. For example on the Saint Race side, except for the Saints, only Tai Xuan (the most powerful law domain realm master of the Saint race) was shown to possess a grade 9 qi cultivation art and on the all heavens side, only Zhou Yuan possessed it. This grade of Genesis qi is complicated to create even for a saint, generally, they will create only one grade 9 Genesis qi cultivation art which is the main qi cultivation art.

Genesis Qi has many applications, for example:
Strengthening physical abilities: faster regeneration, better endurance, longer lifespan, ability to hold breath underwater for a very long time (varies depending on the cultivation realm).
Genesis qi suppression (varies depending on the cultivation realm)
Genesis qi shape-shifting: creating layers of defense to block attacks, making a temporary weapon that is made by genesis qi and imbued with its genesis qi's attributes

Yuan Techniques :
Yuan Techniques are techniques that utilize the qi energy externally and internally of the Yuan Master to perform special martial arts. The higher the grade of the Yuan Technique is, the harder to comprehend and use because of its requirements for materials and talents, such as dragon-type Yuan Techniques that are more suitable for dragon-type cultivation art masters.

The Yuan Technique is divided into 4 main grades :
1. Basic: Most masters in the Eight Great Meridians Awakening Realm would practice this level of Yuan Techniques.
2. Xuan/Black: Most masters in the Qi Nourishing Realm would practice low- or mid-Xuan Yuan Techniques
3. Heaven: Most masters in the Heaven Gate Realm would practice high-Black Yuan Techniques and Lesser Heaven Yuan Techniques.
Most masters in the Alpha-Origin Realm would practice low- or mid-Heaven Yuan Techniques, and rarely high ones.
Most masters in the Divine Palace Realm would practice high Heaven Genesis Techniques and rarely Lesser Saint Yuan Techniques,
Most masters in the Heavenly Sun Realm would Practice lesser saint genesis art.
4. Saint: Most masters in the Nascent Origin Realm would practice a Lesser Saint Yuan Techniques and rarely a True Saint Genesis Art.
All Masters in the Law Domain Realm and all Saint Realm masters would practice a Common or a Great Saint Genesis Techniques and if the luck is high then a Supreme one.

Yuan Technique Mark :
A mark of the yuan technique is known as a technique mark.
Such a mark could only be obtained through special cultivation methods. Once formed, it would be imprinted on the Qi Palace like a seed of sorts. In the future, one would only need to fuse Genesis Qi into the mark to activate the technique.
After great masters die, their technique marks could be left behind through the power of their wills.
