Chapter 84: Family!

Joshua and Ethan spent more time with their grandpa. 

In the end, they left the room to talk to the doctor about their grandfather's health and what should be done next to take care of him.

While they walked to the doctor's office, Claire sat still and thought.

Her desire to visit Grandfather Trevor and help and calm him would not go away. Before making her choice, she waited until Joshua and Ethan were out of sight.

Claire gathered her confidence, got up, and walked into the room. She gently opened the door and stepped inside with a shy smile. When Grandpa Trevor saw her, his eyes lit up.

"Claire," he said, greeting her warmly. His voice was weak but friendly. "It's good to see you."

Claire felt a wave of relief wash over her. "It's good to see you too, Grandpa," she answered, moving to his bedside. "How are you feeling?"

He gave a small, tired smile. "I've been better, but I'll manage. It's just good to have family around."
