Chapter 19: Give Me Your Scroll
"W-Who are you?" Kinuta asked in a stuttering tone as he saw a boy with blonde hair jump down from a tree behind him. Kinuta was filled with fear at this point.
His team was already outnumbered, and if one more person joined the fight against them, escaping with his life would be nearly impossible, especially considering Sasuke's cursed mark.
Naruto ignored him, swiftly appearing in front of Kinuta and, without hesitation, breaking his neck. Naruto wasn't interested in conversation during fights; he believed talking to someone you intended to kill was pointless.
Many villains fell prey to "Talk-No-Jutsu," but Naruto had no patience for that.
"Shit!" Zaku Abumi thought after witnessing Naruto effortlessly kill Kinuta. He attempted to flee at full speed, but Sasuke, With his curse mark, swiftly caught him.
"This is what happens when you mess with the wrong people," Sasuke Said in a very cold voice before breaking Abumi's hands without resistance.
Sasuke couldn't help but wonder, "How did Sakura get beaten by Trashes like this?" as he tossed Abumi to the ground after incapacitating him.
He found Abumi too pathetic and trashy to even put up a fight, unlike Sakura, who had been overpowered, albeit by three opponents.
"Kill him," Sasuke suddenly heard a very familiar voice say. It was Naruto's voice.
"What?" Sasuke said in a confused tone. He knew what Naruto meant, but to Sasuke, who had never killed anyone and wasn't planning to kill Abumi, this came as a surprise.
"Does your Sharingan make you deaf or something?" Naruto said as he walked towards Sasuke, ignoring Kinuta's dead body. "Fine, I'll do it myself."
As soon as Naruto said this, he put his foot on Abumi's neck and pressed it until Abumi was dead... like Sasuke's parents.
And Naruto did it while maintaining eye contact with Sasuke. Though Naruto just did it to avoid dealing with a future trouble, Sasuke took it as mockery.
At first, Sasuke used to ignore Naruto when he was clumsy and acted stupid. But after Naruto awakened his past life's memories and started showing his talents, Sasuke began to see him as a rival.
But after having his pride crushed numerous times and his self-respect obliterated to the point even Dust Release would say "Damn!", Sasuke now saw Naruto as a rival.
Now, he pretty much sees Naruto as a threat, or you could say he is jealous of him.
"Does he think I can't kill anyone?" Sasuke thought as he looked around and saw Kin Tsuchi barely standing after Ino let go of her body. He then ran towards her and broke her neck.
He was really fast for kin tsuchi to even react, She got her neck broke just like kinuta got by naruto.
"...." Naruto just watched as Sasuke tried to copy him. Like, seriously, be creative, man...
"S-Sasuke-kun," Sakura muttered as she saw Sasuke kill Kin Tsuchi, blushing a little, thinking Sasuke did it because she hurt her. But honestly, Sasuke didn't really give a fuck about her.
He was just kind of angry that these little shits tried to attack someone who was defending him when he was unconscious.
But soon, Sakura came back to her senses and looked at Naruto before asking in a loud voice, "Naruto! Where were you all this time?" Her voice was filled with a little anger.
This guy just disappeared when that weird-ass man attacked them, and if not for his disappearance, Sakura wouldn't have gotten beaten so much by these three shinobi from the Land of Sound.
But Naruto just ignored her and walked towards Kinuta's dead body, took out an earth scroll from his bag, and said, "With this, we'll be able to pass this exam," in an unbothered tone.
To be honest, Naruto wasn't really that interested in this Chunin exam. Apart from getting the Hyuga bloodline, there was nothing for him to gain from it... like, nothing.
But still, if he had participated in it, it was better to win this thing rather than let anyone else win and think they were better than Naruto.
"Ah! About that..." Sakura started in an awkward tone before continuing, "That snake guy ate our heaven scroll." As soon as she said this, Naruto just started to give her and Sasuke side eyes.
Before looking at Shikamaru with greedy eyes, Naruto smirked. "D-Don't tell me," Shikamaru thought as he realized what Naruto wanted.
"Choji, run!" Shikamaru yelled, but before Choji could even react, he got a kick to his face from Naruto.
"Give me your scroll, or this fat potato will become mashed potato," Naruto said as he put his right leg on Choji's neck and his left on Choji's balls, looking towards Shikamaru.
Naruto knew Choji didn't have his team's scroll since letting someone like Choji keep the scroll was just plain stupid.
And He didn't think Shikamaru was stupid enough to yell who had the scroll in front of someone who was going to try and steal it.
It was most likely a trap to make Naruto think Choji had the scroll so Shikamaru or Ino, whoever the fuck had the scroll, could run away or pull some trick.
"Naruto! What the hell you doing?" Sakura yelled at Naruto in a very loud voice.
"Sakura, I think you are forgetting the manners to talk to me. If you yell at me one more time, first I will smash this potato and then incinerate you, trash," Naruto said with a fuck-you face.
Like, is this trash really forgetting her place? In his past life, Naruto wouldn't even spit in her direction in case his spit might get infected with uselessness from her.
"Y-You," Sakura could only mutter. She now felt bad for Ino and her team since they were the ones who came out to fight for her, and now her own teammate was threatening them like this.
"S-Sasuke-kun, please stop Naruto," Sakura said in a pitiful tone as she looked at Sasuke, who was still standing beside Kin Tsuchi's dead body and watching all this.
"Hmm..." Sasuke seemed to consider something before jumping onto the tree behind Shikamaru and saying, "It's just like Naruto said. Either give us the scroll, or your potato will turn into mashed potato."
Sasuke spoke in a cold voice. Even though he was kind of jealous of Naruto, right now, if they wanted to pass the exam, they needed a heaven scroll. Even though there was just a 50% chance that Shikamaru's team had a heaven scroll, it was worth fighting for.
"DON'T GIVE THESE UNGRATEFUL BASTARDS THE SCROLL!" Choji shouted as soon as he saw both Naruto and Sasuke turn against them, even though they had helped Sakura.
"Shut up... potato," Naruto said before pressing Choji's neck with his foot and kicking Choji's balls.
"Ahhhhh—" Choji tried to scream in pain as his balls got kicked, but Naruto didn't even grant him that, pressing Choji's neck to the point he could barely breathe.
You could say Choji was in a very difficult situation. If he tried to move his legs, his balls would get crushed, and if he tried to swallow his pills, his neck would get broken. In simple terms, he was fucked both ways.
Seeing Shikamaru's face like he was making a plan, Naruto said, "Making plans is useless. You will be killed either way," as he made dozens of clones, all of them surrounding Shikamaru and Ino.
"Naruto! Sasuke-kun, please stop—" Sakura tried to intervene before getting punched in the face by one of Naruto's clones. The clone then grabbed her by the hair and slammed her on the ground non-stop until she passed out.
"Like I said before... know your place, trash," Naruto's clone said as he slammed Sakura one last time.
Neither Naruto nor Sasuke gave any fucks about her. Naruto was the one who beat her, and Sasuke wasn't interested in her anymore.
"So, what will you choose?" Naruto asked Shikamaru while looking at him. Though Naruto could just kill all of them and take their scroll, which may or may not be a heaven scroll, their reaction suggested it was a heaven scroll. If it was an earth one, why would they react this way? They could just show Naruto the scroll and fuck off.
You could say it was Naruto's innate ability. This guy could deduce your plan just by the way you were breathing... He's a fucking psychopath.
The only way to counter this ability is to become an emo with no reaction, and then you might have a chance to keep your plans and moves undetected as soon as you make them.
Anyway, why didn't he kill them? It's simple. He had a use for them, and killing them right now wouldn't benefit him as much as killing them in the future would.
Yeah, you read it right. He will kill them eventually, since Naruto is the type of guy to decide whether to let you live or not based on whether you can benefit him or not. If you are too useless, You are dead.

"W-We will give you the scroll," Shikamaru said with a weird expression. Even though he didn't really want to, there was no way he would be able to get out of this situation.
He didn't have any prep time, nor were any of his teammates as strong as Naruto and Sasuke. Apart from him, neither could make plans by themselves.
There were simply too many chances they would die compared to the chances they could escape.
On one side, they had this one fancy pants who suddenly got magic tattoos, and on the other hand, another fancy pants who would kill them at a moment's notice.
"Here, take this," Shikamaru said as he took out a heaven scroll from his pocket and threw it towards Naruto, who didn't even move, letting one of his clones take the scroll.
"Bye-bye," Naruto said as all of his clones started to attack Shikamaru and Ino, hitting them so hard they fell unconscious. Naruto also hit Choji, making him unconscious.
Naruto did this because he didn't want these little shits coming after him and trying to take their scroll back after planning. It would be too troublesome if Naruto accidentally killed them.
