"Can't everyone level up by fighting monsters?" Harry inquired, seeking to confirm if he was the only one who could get power up in this manner.
"Of course not. The likelihood of leveling up through combat is exceedingly rare. To ascend, one must reach the zenith of their current level, and utilizing resources can enhance the chances increase in one's cultivation while fighting," Liam elaborated.
As Harry had predicted, his situation was unique. It was akin to a game, vanquishing monsters garnered experience points (exp), and he advanced to the next level upon accumulating a certain amount of exp.
Now He was curious if he could also level up through cultivation resources, but for now, he couldn't verify it because there were no such resources for level 6 available in the shops.
"I think we should procure cultivation serums for Meru and Tyler. I'll contribute some money, and you can repay me later," Liam proposed.
"Thank you, Liam. I will remember to repay your kindness," Tyler said, grinning broadly.
After purchasing the serums, they returned to their rooms.
"You must train immediately after using the serum, so pair up and spar with each other," Liam instructed.
Tyler and Meru administered the syringes and commenced in their training. After two hours, they stopped, huffing and panting.
"Now all the energy is absorbed and settled, and your levels have increased," Liam said, wiping sweat from his forehead after a prolonged bout.
Harry could see the joy on Meru and Tyler's faces.
He pondered how he would explain his elevated level. One option was to directly inform them about the system. But would they believe him? He envisioned a scenario where he was elucidating the game-like system and his leveling method, but Tyler and Meru regarded him as a joker.
'No...no. I can't. If they keep inquiring, I will demonstrate practically instead of talking,' Harry decided.
"Liam, could you explain the usage of beast crystals?" Harry asked.
"Beast crystals can be utilized as a pure energy source or for crafting weapons. The caliber of the weapon is determined by the crystal and materials employed. We often use crystal energy as a power source for various applications. There are even high-tech ships that operate on beast crystals," Liam explained.
Harry merely nodded.
After a lengthy silence, Liam asked, "You inquired about of information on recruits. Can you explain your motive?"
"I seek information about a certain individual who entered here several years ago," Harry replied, setting the blanket aside.
"You know I am the son of the lord. When you first inquired about information, I was unsure if I should assist you, but after spending a day with you, I am convinced you're not a bad person. However, even if I wanted to, I couldn't help you because the information is held by the Star Association," Liam said, his voice tinged with sadness as he gazed at the ceiling.
"Really? Then can you assist me in bringing my mother to the domain?" Harry asked.
"Yes, I can help with that. Can you provide her address? I will dispatch someone to bring her," Liam replied, eager to assist.
Harry provided the address, and Liam assured him that his mother would arrive in a few days. Harry was elated because one of his problems was resolved.
Harry was so excited that he forgot to ask why the son of the lord was there. So he asked Liam, "Why are you here?"
"Recently, there has been a conflict between my 'royal family' and the 'Alphanso family'," Liam said.
"That doesn't explain why you are here," Harry responded.
"Have you ever wondered why there are no high-realm individuals here? It's implausible that no one has surpassed my father's level for several years."
"Why?" Harry asked.
"Those who achieve higher levels require advanced cultivation resources to break through, which are not available in this small city. Therefore, they choose to reside in high-tier cities. If someone desires to become the lord of small cities like this, they must forgo the temptation of becoming stronger. My father has the support of my brother, who is significantly more powerful than anyone in the city.
Recently, the third son of the Alphanso family has ascended to the same level as my brother after joining the 'Philosophers Academy.'
He wants his father to become the lord of the city, but my brother's equivalent level prevents him from forcing the issue.
And we have very good relationship between two families so we don't want this matter to go out of hands.

Harry listened attentively, uncertain of how to respond. He was curious about the academy Liam mentioned but wanted Liam to finish first. "What is the nature of the competition?" Harry asked.
"There are two potential challenges. The first is to kill an advanced beast with new recruits without family assistance, or to pass the entrance exam of the Philosophers Academy.
With only two weeks left before the entrance exam, I aim to complete the first challenge, as there is a high probability that we both will pass the entrance exam," Liam explained.
Harry nodded in agreement and revealed his true level. "I will assist you in completing your first task, but in return, you owe me a favor."
He disclosed to Liam that he was also at Foundation Building level 6.
"What? How is that possible? Your level is the same as mine, yet you arrived here just yesterday," Liam exclaimed in astonishment.
"It doesn't matter how, but you will owe me a favor after I help you," Harry insisted. He was reluctant to divulge how he became this powerful, fearing Liam would think him foolish.
"Of course, I will assist you by any means possible if it is within my power," Liam affirmed sincerely.
"Tyler, I know you are listening," Harry said, glancing towards where Tyler was pretending to sleep.

This chapter was more concentrated to make firm bond between characters.
Next 3-5 chapter will be interesting, i won't reveal anything but who don't like a powerboost in MC's power.
