Chapter 16: Method to Unlock the Mangekyō Sharingan

In the dead of night, within the Death Forest.

Uchiha Mikoto sat on a giant tree, studying a Water Release scroll under the bright moonlight and her Sharingan. Thanks to Shishou'd giant centipede patrolling the area, no animals dared to disturb her, making it quite peaceful.

Suddenly, Mikoto glanced toward the shadow beneath the tree. Moments later, Shishou's figure emerged from the darkness.

"I'm taking you somewhere," he said.

"Taking me..." Mikoto began, but Shishou grabbed her shoulder, and with a flash of the Flying Thunder God technique, they vanished.

They reappeared at the Uchiha compound. A swarm of insects, holding a kunai, hovered 300 meters above the ground. The next moment, Shishou and Mikoto appeared mid-air within the swarm, plummeting towards the ground.

"Where are we..." Mikoto started, but as she realized they were falling, she screamed.

The sudden loss of balance left Mikoto's mind blank. Instinctively, she screamed, her heart racing and the rushing air chilling her to the bone, making her feel as if she were plunging into an abyss.

In the next second, strong arms enveloped her, bringing a comforting warmth. Opening her eyes, she saw Shishou's smiling face. Despite her initial fear, the warmth from his body made her feel secure.

Looking at his handsome, young face, Mikoto felt a rush of emotion. Her hands wrapped around his neck, and she leaned in for a kiss. Shishou, pleased with his success, knew his plan had worked.

He used the Flying Thunder God technique again, and they appeared in Uchiha Sasuke's bedroom. Sasuke, already put into a deep sleep by Shishou's "help," wouldn't wake up even if there was a loud noise.

As Mikoto returned to her senses, she realized their surroundings had changed. Seeing the familiar environment, she struggled out of Shishou's embrace, wanting to reach her sleeping son. Shishou held her back.

"Mikoto, you don't want Sasuke to know you're alive, right? Do you think he could keep this secret at his age? Do you want to put him in danger again?" Shishou's words stopped Mikoto in her tracks. She could only gaze lovingly at Sasuke, her eyes filled with tears.

But then, she trembled, her cheeks flushing red.

"You... you..." Mikoto stammered.

"Intense emotions help you master the Sharingan," Shishou whispered. "Don't move. You don't want Sasuke to find out, do you?"

Mikoto's heart pounded, filled with tension. Her Sharingan grew more vivid, her eye power increasing rapidly.

"But..." she protested weakly. Sasuke was right there.

Mikoto's Sharingan glowed red as her emotions surged, and her eye power soared. Shishou, satisfied, murmured, "There's no 'but.'"

---

An hour later.

Back in the Death Forest.

On the giant tree, Mikoto looked at Shishou with a complex expression. She had doubted his claim that intense emotions could enhance the Sharingan, dismissing it as a mere perverse whim. However, seeing the Mangekyo Sharingan in Shishou's eyes, she was silent. The truth was undeniable.

"Who would have thought it would be this easy to awaken the Mangekyo Sharingan," Shishou mused, feeling the change in his eye power. He had intended to dominate Mikoto, but the unexpected awakening of his Mangekyo was a delightful surprise.

Given that his Uchiha bloodline was strengthened by the chakra of hundreds of Uchiha corpses, his Sharingan's evolution wasn't surprising.

For Mikoto, hearing Shishou speak so casually about awakening the Mangekyo, she felt a pang of sorrow. After experiencing the clan's massacre and the humiliation, she still hadn't awakened her Mangekyo. Tears flowed silently as she cried, feeling both sad and wronged.

Watching her weep, Shishou put aside his triumph and gently kissed her, recalling an old saying: "There's nothing a good round of lovemaking can't solve. If one round doesn't work, try two."

Mikoto's attention shifted, and she blushed deeply her initial defiance melting.

---

Meanwhile, Uchiha Izumi, searching for Mikoto, paused at the strange sounds from above. Her face turned red, and she quickly hid in the shadows. Listening for a bit, she blushed even more before returning to the laboratory, ensuring the other children didn't come looking for Mikoto.
