Chapter 15: Seizing by Force
Such a ninja is usually backed by some influential force. A small casino would not dare to offend him without catching him using ninjutsu to cheat. This was why the casino owner hesitated to reveal the dice.
"Young man, could we discuss this upstairs?" The beautiful casino owner, her face pale, forced a pleasant smile and looked at Zhixiang with a pleading expression. She knew from her subordinates that he was powerful, so despite his young appearance, she didn't dare to show any disrespect.
The casino owner, Takeshiko, was just ordinary, without significant backing or influence. She managed the Good Luck Casino only because the various forces in Fire Source City respected her deceased husband and allowed her to keep her livelihood. They left her alone as long as she handed over 80% of the monthly profits.
Even the few ninjas working in the casino were sent by other gambling establishments. Though she was called the owner, she was essentially an employee. The Good Luck Casino was a small establishment, with monthly profits barely reaching one to two million Ryo.
A loss of one hundred million ryo would be catastrophic for her. She would face dire consequences if she couldn't pay up. Realizing this, she looked at Zhixiang with even more desperation.
"Alright," Zhixiang sighed inwardly at the obvious plea in her eyes and nodded in agreement. He had a soft spot for women in distress.
"This way, please!" Takeshiko quickly stood up, respectfully guiding Zhixiang to the second floor and into her private office. She heard a burst of astonished exclamations from downstairs as she closed the door.
"Six, six, six, it's a triplet!"
"A hundred million ryo and that young man just walked away from it."
