Anger was boiling in his blood as he looked at the kid with the purple shell on his back crouched down talking to Bloom, not acknowledging him and his crew who were just coming back to consciousness.
"GET UP YOU SCUM AND KILL THEM BOTH!" Rufus hollered out as sweat formed on his face and his veins throbbed on his forehead.
He was furious and afraid at whatever caused him and his crew to go down like that.
He needed to quickly kill these kids, and leave this area fast or he could be killed.
His crew freighted from the scream rushed to get the still waking crew members up and ready to confront Bloom and the kid that appeared.
There were thirty of them on the ship so the crew wasn't worried about fighting them since they could outnumber the duo.
Kazuki looked around Bloom, and at the group of pirates picking each other up while getting their fallen weapons.
Bloom whipped her head around to see that all the pirates in front of her were all standing up with ugly scowls on their face as they held swords and guns pointed at them.
Shaking she turned to look at the boy who was still crouched at her eye level looking on with curiosity, he couldn't have been younger than eleven with his height and baby face.
She suddenly began trying to push him with her shaking arms, if she died that was fine, but him…
'I have enough innocent blood on my hands already, but he can't be added not when he's the same age as….' She thought as tears began building up in her eyes but she didn't let them fall.
"LEAVE THEIR GOING TO KILL YOU!" Bloom yelled desperately, trying to move him but he was like a mountain he wasn't budging even a little.
Kazuki smiled as he brought his hand up and patted her on the head. "And go where?" He asked with curiosity, they were in the middle of the sea with no land mass in sight.
Bloom froze when he patted her head but they widened in realized horror that their really was nowhere too run.
One of the crew, a familiar face to her as he was usually the one to play robber and hostage on their raids, stepped out of the crowd with a cocky smirk on his face and aimed his gun at Bloom.
"Sorry Bloom got to thank you it was always fun play acting with you, now I have the play the part of the hostaged girl duhaduha." He laughed at his own joke, he hated always playing robber and hostage and never getting to be part of the raids.
So he acted like he loved it to not get on the captains bad side but after doing it for a while he actually did learn to love it.
Bloom closed her eyes tight as tears kept falling, when the gun was pointed at her she knew it was up but she wouldn't give him the satisfaction of looking his victim in the eye.
With a sinister grin he squeezed as hard as possible when he pulled the trigger on his pistol.
(Bang)
Bloom expected a lot of things when she heard the gun fire, pain for one was the first thing that came to her mind.
But nothing?
She opened her eyes to see a brown hand beside her head balled into a fist and the look of shock on the pirates faces as they looked at her.
No they weren't looking at her, she turned her head to see Kazuki with a serious look on his face as he stared down the pirate in front of him causing the man to start shaking before Kazuki opened his hand.
(Clank)
A dented metal ball fell from his open hand as silence loomed over the pirate ship deck, the pirate in front of Bloom and Kazuki fell on his rear shaking even worse than before.
"D-Devil?!" The man stuttered out as he looked at Kazuki in fear and horror.
Kazuki stood up from behind Bloom looking at the entire crew with a glare that would be funny to them if the twelve year old's cold green eyes weren't freezing them still.
A hand grabbed at his pants leg before he could advance towards the frozen pirate crew, looking down to see Bloom's face scrunched up in a attempt to stop the tears from trailing down.
"D-don't go, your just a kid!" She said in hysteria, she didn't know this boy but he was strong and fast if he could stop a bullet before it hit her, but she knew Rufus could do that same thing.
Kazuki smiled than patted her head, "Haha don't worry I'm stong! This won't take long, and I'm twelve, already a man Hahaha." He said laughing and gently took her trembling hand off his leg before turning towards the crew.
His smile didnt drop as walked up to the pirate on the ground who shot the pistol. Crawling backwards the man was stuttering as he tried talking to Kazuki.
"L-Liste-n kid, man? T-thi-." The man was stopped from further talking when a brown hand grabbed his face and started squeezing it.
"Aahhh s-sto-p," The man screamed as he tried desperately to remove the hand from his face, he could feel his cheek bones and nose getting crushed he thrashed more around as the pressure increased.
"No." Kazuki coldly replied as he suddenly spun on his heel dragging the man's body around him in a circle before tossing him across the ships deck.
The body flew fast passing the crowd of pirates, slamming into the railing of the ship rupturing it apart as he flew further into the sea.
Thd sight of a body slamming into the water beyond caused the unfrozen crew on deck to react.
"Hurry gang up on him! He can't take us all." A pirate yelled out in fear as then seven pirates with swords rushed forward to attack Kazuki.
Kazuki took his stance with feet spread apart, knees bent, his left arm behind his back with a clinched fist and his right hand held in front also clinched. Kazuki smirked at the approaching pirates.
He leaned his head back as two swords flashed in front of his face, he side stepped while pushing his palm into the side of the sword thrusting to impale him, causing him to lose balance. Kazuki spun around his opponent thrusting his elbow into his temple.
(Crack)
The pirate fell unconscious in front of Kazuki but he stopped it with his leg on his stomach, kicking his leg slightly up the body hovered in front of him.
He then sent him colliding into aapproaching pirate, sending them both flying into the ocean.
Kazuki stepped back as a sword swiped down in front of him, he jumped up while kicking his knee into the chin of the pirate causing him to be lifted in the air.
He was then grabbed by his leg by Kazuki who threw him into a approaching sword thrust.
"AAHHH." The pirate screamed as he was impaled in the shoulder by his friend, who was shocked and frightened, his hands started shaking the sword causing the impaled pirate to scream louder.
"Hold o-on l-le." He was stopped from talking as he looked at Kazuki walking in front of him with his left hand held in front of him into a tight fist, he was looking slightly behind them at the crowd of pirates.
'Let's reduce the numbers a little." Kazuki thought looking at the crowd of frightened pirates.
"SHOOT HIM DAMN IT!" A random pirate yelled out, soon all the pirates on deck aim the gun at Kazuki and any pirate till in his direction.
The impaled pirate looked forward at the group of pirates aiming the guns. "Wait d-do." He didn't get to finish speaking as a yell screamed out from behind him.
"HHAA," Kazuki yelled as he thrusted his arm forward spreading his fingers wide, a invisible shockwave expelled from him sending the two pirates and the crowd railing back.
Rufus feet dragged against ship floor ripping it apart, he crossed his arms and tried to block against the force pushing him and his crew overboard the ship, he furiously watched as a majority of his crew were sent flying far into the sea.
The ship cracked and swayed from the force exerted by the boy before it stopped leaving disaster for the now 4 men and captain crew on board.
Rufus was panting from anger as he uncrossed his arms and looked at the small boy with murder in his black eyes.
"I'm going to enjoy killing you real slow child, the name is Rufus Black, so remember it when you go!" Rufus yelled as he threw his coat into the wind.
Kazuki watched curiously as black goo slipped out of Rufus eyes, nose and mouth before covering him completely in a bubble of black goo that soon seemed to tighten around around his frame like a second skin.
In front of Kazuki was now a monster or a demon in his eyes, it stood 7ft, hunched over with claws for hands and feet. He was completely blackened from the goop. Dark red eyes stared at him with a intense hatred to tear him apart.
"I'm a devil too boy, ate the goop-goop/Gūpu-Gūpu fruit. " The transformed Rufus said as he menacing growled out, he crouched low before he shooting forward at blinding speeds toward Kazuki.
Kazuki leaned back as the larger man nearly took a large swipe at him, he jumped away before rushing into his guard, hiking up the giant man's body up to his face.
Rufus tried stepping backwards launching another swipe at Kazuki's face as he appeared in front of him, but Kazuki kicked the attack away from him, then thrusted his palm against Rufus stomach.
"KIAI POINT!" Kazuki yelled as as a invisible wave erupted from his hand into Rufus stomach that then blasted his massive body into the base mast of the ship.
Rufus coughed up blood as he dragged his body away from the indent, he wiped the blood off his chin, growling and glaring at Kazuki.
Kazuki smirked back as his green eyes gave off a slight glow before he settled into his familiar stance of having one arm behind his back and his fist clinched in front.
"I'm gong to kill you, then skin that bitch alive!" Rufus roared in anger as he crouched down on all fours.
"As if you could kill me." Kazuki said taunting him with a smirked as Rufus cut into the deck with his claws out of anger.
