After the medical ninja left, Yuu focused on the girl in front of him with a wary look on his face while constantly surging lightning chakra in his body despite the damage and pain he was inflicting on himself however even so Yuu continued to do so as he even now he wasn't sure if this would be enough to deal with the girl's genjutsu abilities.
That's right. Yuu knew all about the famous Kurama clan, known as the only clan in the world that surpassed the Uchiha clan in genjutsu. In fact, their genjutsu capabilities was so strong that it could actually affect the real world. For example if a Kurama clan member put you in a genjutsu in which you were stabbed in the stomach, your body in the real world would actually form a wound where the imaginary sword hit you causing you to bleed to death whereas if an Uchiha put you in a genjutsu of a similar circumstance , you would only feel the pain of the imaginary wound however nothing would actually happen to your body in the real world. This was just how powerful the Kurama clan was. They were entirely on a league of their own.
Yakumo approached the now upright Yuu slowly with a smile on her face and her hands raised "There is no need to be so wary of me. I mean you no harm" Even so Yuu didn't let down his vigilance nor stop circulating lightning chakra causing Yakumo to sigh. Nevertheless, she continued walking until she was in front of Yuu.
"May I seat beside you?" she asked.
Yuu nodded to which Yakumo acquiesced.
"So if you are not here to harm me, why are you here?" asked Yuu, his heart rate for the first time in a long time rising beyond normal. That's how frightened he was. He wasn't even this frightened against the Hokage himself. This was how terrifying he viewed the girl beside him to be.
Yakumo first looked around the room and after ensuring that there were no recording devices, she looked into Yuu's bright green eyes. "First off let me start off by saying that I know you were behind the attack on Konoha's elder home last year."
Yuu's expression immediately dropped to any icy degree as he quickly, much faster than he had ever done in front of anyone, grabbed a kunai from his waist pouch and placed it on the girl's neck.
"How do you know that? I ensured that no one else knew of my involvement in the matter" asked Yuu in a cold tone, pressing the kunai even closer to Yakumo's neck to the extent of drawing a little blood. One wrong move from Yakumo and he immediately would slit her throat and flee from Konoha.
Yakumo, despite the threat to her life, was calm. "I knew because I was there when you attacked the elder home."
"Impossible! I would have noticed you given your current Chunin power level," said Yuu.
"Indeed, you would have noticed me…. if I hadn't put a genjutsu around me."
"What do you mean?" Yuu was confused by her statement.
"I'm sure given your current wary expression that you know about the Kurama clan and its Kekei Genkai capable of producing genjutsu strong enough to alter the reality around them"
Yuu nodded.
"Well you see even compared the Kurama clan members, I was born with one of the strongest genjutsu capabilities ever seen in our history. However, the heavens are fair to an extent as while the Kurama clan are born with reality altering genjutsu capabilities, they are also born with a weak physique and I possessing an even stronger genjutsu was also born with an even weaker body. However, if this was the only thing that troubled the Kurama clan, we wouldn't be as few as we are now." Said Yakumo as she sighed bitterly "No that credit goes to our Kekei Genkai.
You see as we grow older, even without practising out genjutsu our abilities in this field grow so strong that it eventually overwhelms out minds causing us to develop a separate personality in our mind capable of better handling our abilities. These personalities however are evil in nature seeking to destroy everything and everyone around them with their genjutsu."
"I too began to develop such a personality however my tutor Kurenai Yuhi quickly discovered and sealed this personality with Fuinjutsu however this is merely a temporary fix as soon my genjutsu personality will become so strong that it will eventually break the seal. Due to the fear of my capabilities, the Hokage assigned a few Anbu members for my so-called protection" said Yakumo sarcastically.
"However, despite my prowess being limited by these seals and my chakra being at high Chunin level, I was still powerful enough to put a genjutsu on my 'watchers' allowing me to have my previous freedom once in a while which I would use to roam the village at night under the beauty of the moonlight. However, in order to ensure that I wasn't discovered I would also use my genjutsu to alter the reality around me making it appear as if I didn't exist which made everyone, even the jonin level shinobi, not be able to perceive me. This, however consumed a lot of my chakra and hence I didn't spend a lot of time in my wandering. Coincidentally be it by fate or something else, I happened to be roaming around the elder home when I happened to witness the events going on. I was curious and hence followed you throughout the entire event eventually following you back to your house where I was finally able to see the face you hid behind your mask."
"That is how I know who you are and what you did" explained Yakumo to which Yuu's eyes blinked in surprise while thinking no wonder the heavens limited the Kurama clan. Their genjutsu capabilities even with all their weaknesses made them god-like and on the same level if not greater than the Uchiha clansmen with their Mangekyo Sharingan.
"Now that I know how you found out about me. We have still yet to establish why you have sought me out instead of reporting me to the Hokage" said Yuu his gaze still cold.
"I was getting to that part if you could just be patient" said Yakumo with a small sigh "After following you home, I observed everything about you while also having my clansmen obtain information about you from the archives of Konoha Anbu Headquarters without being discovered which was a simple task given our clans abilities it was there that I found something interesting. Before you arrived in Konoha, you possessed only civilian level chakra yet when I sensed your chakra that night of the attack you possessed Peak Genin level chakra and a week later you possessed mid Chunin level chakra with a frightening density."
