He glanced over at Sachiko, still sound asleep beside him, her body curled up, probably exhausted from the intense night they shared. A faint smile tugged at his lips as he remembered the look of satisfaction on her face just hours ago.

But what caught his attention next was something far more curious. Near the door, Sayako stood, her back slightly hunched, her eyes closed as if she was asleep. Ryo raised an eyebrow, finding the sight almost amusing. Zombies need sleep too?

He quietly got out of bed, moving with deliberate care not to wake Sachiko. His curiosity piqued, Ryo approached Sayako cautiously. Her chest didn't rise or fall, nor did she show any signs of consciousness. She just stood there, unmoving, like a statue guarding the entrance to their room.
