Kevin's expression darkened. "I suspected something like this might happen. There have been whispers of internal disputes." He stood up, his gaze steely. "I'll handle it."
Kevin swiftly neutralized the culprits, ensuring that no harm came to Fuxi or the lab's sensitive information.
"Internal fighting at a time like this... it's unsettling," Elysia said, her eyes reflecting her unease. "We should be united against the Honkai threat, not tearing each other apart."
As Kevin and Elysia discussed the internal conflicts and their next steps, Mobius entered the lab, her expression unreadable but with a hint of curiosity in her eyes.
She was followed closely by Klein, her loyal assistant, and Mei, who looked as thoughtful as ever.
Mobius glanced at the gathered group, her eyes sharp as she took in the tension. "So, it seems the children have been playing their little power games again," she said with a slight smirk, though her voice carried a cold edge. "Trying to steal data, harming my assistants—such petty tactics."
Klein adjusted his glasses, his expression serious. "It's troubling, Doctor. We've been focused on our research, and now we have to deal with internal threats as well."
Mei nodded, her brow furrowed in concern. "The divisions within MOTH are growing deeper. It's as if they don't understand the gravity of the situation we're facing with the Honkai.
"Mobius shrugged, a faint smile playing on her lips. "They understand, but they're blinded by their own ambitions. They see this as an opportunity to seize power".
Kevin sighed, leaning against a desk. "It's a common flaw in human nature. When people in power feel threatened, they often disregard ethics and morality to protect their egos and status. No matter what we do, this is a drawback of humanity."
Elysia frowned, her clever mind already working through the implications. "But we can't let this go unchecked. If this continues, it could jeopardize everything we're working for."
Kevin nodded, appreciating her resolve. "You're right. We need to get to the bottom of this."
With Elysia's sharp intellect and keen observation skills, she soon uncovered the identities of those involved in the conspiracy. During the interrogation, it became clear that the higher-ups had fractured into three main factions following the Fourth Eruption:

The top leaders of MOTH, instead of fostering collaboration, had allowed their personal ambitions and greed to guide their actions. They prioritized expanding their influence and status over the looming threat of another catastrophic eruption.
Kevin rubbed his temples, feeling a headache forming. "They should be working together to develop a unified defense strategy, not splitting into rival factions. This division is only weakening us."
Elysia, sitting across from him, looked deeply troubled. "Even after all our warnings, they still prioritize their power struggles over the survival of humanity. It's... disheartening."
Kevin reached out, placing a reassuring hand on hers. "I know it feels hopeless, but this kind of infighting is sadly common. In times of crisis, some people see opportunities for personal gain rather than a chance to protect what's important."
Elysia's eyes softened as she met his gaze. "But we can't just accept it, can we?"
Kevin shook his head. "No, we can't. We need to continue our work and set an example. If we can show them that unity and cooperation are the only ways to truly protect humanity, maybe we can turn the tide."
Elysia nodded, determination replacing the sadness in her expression. "We have to try. For the future we want to build."

The next day, a normal Honkai eruption occurred, and Kevin, Kosma, and an elite team of soldiers geared up, ready to take on the Crusade of Honkai Beasts. With their new armor empowered by Honkai energy, they were confident in their ability to defeat the beasts.
As they entered the battlefield, Kevin gave a nod. "Let's do this. Take point everyone ."
Kosma charged forward, his sword slicing through the Honkai Beasts with ease. The team followed, their movements swift and deadly. Kevin watched from a distance, his eyes scanning the battlefield for any signs of danger. Whenever a teammate was about to get injured, he swiftly intervened, his Honkai-infused armor glowing with energy.
The battle raged on, with soldiers clashing against the Honkai Beasts. Rachel, a skilled soldier, took down a beast with her precise aim, while hanabi, a melee specialist, sliced through another with her katana.
After the battle, Kosma approached Kevin, his eyes shining with admiration. "Kevin-san, you're a genius! I want to be your student, train me! I want to be as strong as you!"
Kevin smiled at his enthusiasm. He remembered Durandal's training methods. "Alright, Kosma. But it won't be easy. We'll train like Spartans. I,ll push you to the limit, and beyond."
The next day, Kevin put the team through a grueling 14-hour training session. Kosma and the others pushed themselves to the limit, but eventually, they all collapsed from exhaustion.
"Common, stand up! Why are you exhausted so quickly? You need to train more. You all lack stamina," Kevin said to them.
Mobius, who had come for a short break, started watching from the sidelines, thinking to herself, "It's not them who lack stamina, it's you who has monstrous endurance. We're just normal humans."
Elysia approached Kevin, concern etched on her face. "Kevin, that's enough. You're pushing them too hard. They need rest."
Kevin nodded, finally stopping the training session. "You're right, Elysia. I got carried away. Their stamina is still not good enough."
Kosma, still recovering, looked up at Kevin with a determined gaze. "No, it's okay. We want to be as strong as kevin san."
"Yes, but remember, moderation is key," Elysia said, starting to lecture them on the importance of pacing themselves and doing everything in moderation.
As the training continued, the team faced various challenges, from navigating treacherous terrain to fighting against powerful Honkai Beasts.
But with Kevin's guidance, they slowly began to improve, their stamina and strength increasing with each passing day.
Kevin spend rest of his time studying and doing experiments with Mei and mobius.
