Chapter 2: Chapter 1: The House of Aurelius

In an all-white room, we can see two figures sitting at a table, quietly sipping on their respective drinks. One of the figures is a young man who looks to be in his early twenties; he has a lean build with short, straight black hair with the sides faded along with dark brown eyes. Across from him is an older man who looks like Gandalf. He calmly looks at the young man with a gaze as if seeing through all the secrets the other has hidden while slowly sipping on a small glass of red wine.

"How long do you plan to stare at me?" the young man suddenly spoke, gently setting down the teacup.

"I am sorry, young one; it is just that this is the part where you humans usually freak out and panic or have a breakdown, and then I am forced to take away your emotions." The Gandalf look-alike said while also setting down his glass on the table

"Understandable, yet since that is not happening here, what's next?"

"Well, I would normally decide what to do with your soul, whether to send you to heaven, hell, or reincarnation, depending on what I think would be best."

"And what have you decided for my soul?" the young man asked, closing his eyes and waiting for a response.

"I would like for you to reincarnate into a world that you know and help me change things up a bit, make things more exciting or at least different from how they would normally end, as I have grown tired of the same endings of either the humans of that world either barely surviving or being utterly destroyed," Gandalf said, swirling around the red wine in his glass.

"I see and pray to tell you what the name of this world is that I will be going to." The young man said, finally opening his eyes to look at the being taking the image of Gandalf.

"You know it quite well; the world is called Planetos." He said with a small smile

Hearing what was being said, the young man halted his movements while widening his eyes a bit before resuming his usual demeanor. "As a normal human with no power, how do you expect me as one man to change the world of dragons, magic widgets, and frost zombies?"

Letting out a small chuckle, the being stands up, and the room's setting changes to them being surrounded by space and overlooking a planet similar to Earth. "Of course, I will give you some boons to aid you on your journey, as this is only the first part, and we have much to do, young Aerian."

Finishing the last of his tea, Aerian sets down the cup and stands to join the being, overlooking what he assumes to be Planets. "Do I get to choose the boons along with my background of my family and the like, or have you already chosen for me?"

"No, I shall let you decide. After all, it is fun building something great from something new, don't you think?"

"Ha, very well, I would like to be born into a new house that was not in the original story, a house that came before the Starks and the first men who chose to live in harmony with the magical beings of Westeros and learn from them. It shall be called House Aurelius, and the house sigil shall be a Silversword going down the middle with two White Tigers on both sides holding scythes against a circular black and silver background. Finally, the house motto shall be 'In Winter's Darkness, Fear Becomes Our Weapon.' "

"You have thought about this a lot, haven't you?" the being said with a small smile while casting a side glance at Aerian.

"Everyone dreams at least once of living in a world they have seen or read. Life on Earth gets dreadfully boring fast once you grow up," Aerian said, reminiscent of the days he spent trying to find anything to catch his attention, from books and T.V. shows to games and hobbies.

"Fair enough, and what of your boons?"

"Hmm, Instant mastery, training system, and a teaching system."

The being ponders for a bit before letting out a small chuckle. " I can allow it; they aren't overly powered boons, and I get the gist of how you plan to use them, and it should make for an interesting future. Anything else?"

Looking up at the expanse of space for a bit lost in thought, "I would like to have a contingent of the knights of the round table with the main members as commanders except for Arthur."

"Now, that is a first for me. I have never heard someone ask for that, but it can be granted. You will be limited to 1300 Knights, 100 for each main table member as the commander."

"That's better than I thought, thank you," Aerian said with a slight smile.

"Alright, I think that's it. You should be on your way to start your new life, and do try to make it exciting." the being said with a laugh, and with a wave of his hand, everything went black for me.

A few moments later, I opened my eyes. After letting them adjust to the light, I could see that I was in a crib in a room with stone walls. I saw vines running along the walls, forming a peaceful nature-like picture. From what I can remember, I was just born a few days ago to my parents, Doren and Lilliana Aurelius.

'I guess this shall be the beginning of my do-or-die journey. Haha, it should be a fun one, shouldn't it?' I thought to myself with a little chuckle.
