Chapter 17: Chapter 17 ( bonus )
The sound of drinking tea.
Sinbad sits at the table in front of Anko, and they both drink tea.
Sinbad, with a swollen face from being hit, says, "And that's what happened so far, ma'am..." then drinks the tea again.
Anko: "-----"
Sinbad looks into her eyes, with some sweat on his forehead.
Anko relaxes her shoulders, then says, "Thank goodness you're safe," then looks at his face, "Sorry for what happened."
Sinbad: "This..." then points to his face, "It's nothing," and his face starts healing quickly.
Anko raises an eyebrow, "A lot has really happened this year."
Sinbad: "Yes, I looked like a caveman when I came back."
Anko sips her tea, then says, "Let's get married..."
Sinbad spits out the tea in his mouth. Anko, with a threatening look and a kunai in her hand, and a scary smile on her face: "What? Don't you want to?!"
Sinbad, in a defensive position: "Calm down, calm down, of course I want to."
Anko points the kunai at his face: "Continue."
Sinbad: "But we're still young, how about we get engaged now and marry when you turn 18," with a nervous smile.
Anko looks into his eyes, trying to find any deceit, then says, "Okay."
Sinbad, to himself with relief, "It's good she agreed, and that I came prepared," then takes out two rings from his pocket.
Sinbad, smiling: "Alright, my lady, give me your hand."
Sinbad puts the ring on her.
Sinbad: "With this, we are now together forever."
Anko smiles with blushing cheeks, "Yes, my love."
Sinbad's face turns completely red from embarrassment, and he says in a low voice, "Don't call me that in front of everyone."
After a while of both being calm: "So, let's tell Obito and the others."
Anko, with a sad face: "Actually, there are things you need to know."
Sinbad, surprised: "What?"
Anko: "Actually, both Rin and Obito were killed in the war."
Sinbad, with a sad face, remembers: "How could I forget that all this would happen?"
A few days later, Sinbad and Anko stand in front of Orochimaru.
Orochimaru: "Congratulations on your marriage."
Sinbad, with a silly smile: "Hehehehehe."
Anko: "There you go again, acting like a fool."
Then Orochimaru looks at Sinbad analytically: "You've become much stronger since the last time I saw you."
Sinbad: "A year in the war with Kumo, and a year in the Kingdom of the Djinn."
Orochimaru, smiling: "Then why don't I see how much you've progressed?"
Sinbad, with a stern face: "You know, Sensei, without any disrespect, when I was with you on the front lines, I would have won if we fought with all our strength."
Orochimaru's face remains stern.
Sinbad continues: "Without any disrespect, if we fight now, I can't guarantee I can control my power to avoid killing you by mistake."
Anko looks at Sinbad in shock, thinking to herself, "Has he really become this strong?" then looks at him with sadness, "It must have been a really tough year for you."
Sinbad, with a serious face he has never shown before, directs his Haki towards Orochimaru's will, causing Orochimaru to step back a few steps. Sinbad increases the pressure, making Orochimaru kneel on the ground from the directed pressure.
Jiraiya, who saw Sinbad from a distance while passing by, said, "Oh, is that Sinbad-kun?" He starts to kneel from the pressure directed at him by Sinbad as well.
Jiraiya, said to himself, "This damn monster, he's become insanely strong."
Sinbad slowly extends his hand towards Orochimaru: "I almost forgot, Sensei, what's that mark on Anko-chan's neck?"
Anko looks at Sinbad in shock, "How did he know? I didn't show it to him," and stands in front of Orochimaru to defend him.
Sinbad raises an eyebrow in surprise: "What does this mean, Anko-chan?"
Anko, raising her hands in front of Orochimaru to defend him: "Don't be hasty, my love, it was my complete request to Sensei."
Sinbad looks into her eyes and then applies a small portion of Haki: "Explain yourself, I might not be able to bring myself to hurt you, but..." he looks at Orochimaru, "I will kill Orochimaru if I don't like what you say."
