Chapter 262: I am sorry love

"Eveline, Gabriel what are you doing here?" Jonathan's sudden entrance stopped them in their tracks.

Eveline and Gabriel exchanged apprehensive looks, not expecting Jonathan to emerge from the room described by the receptionist. But now that their suspicions were validated, Jonathan was in the same location and hotel.

"We should be asking Dad, what are you doing here? Weren't you out of town?"

Eveline's countenance was blank as she peered directly into her father's eyes.

Jonathan was taken aback by her coolness and botched his words before shifting his gaze to Gabriel, who also appeared doubtful of him.

"I will tell you everything, but first come with me," he said, causing them to crease their forehead.

Their gazes raced to the door from which he had just come out, and he quickly reopened it and motioned for them to join him.
