Chapter 128: No going back

Lilith was spared death, but her face was severely damaged by cuts that diminished her beauty in an instant. 

She wanted to teach that jerk a lesson, but she could not risk her life again; otherwise, he would not pierce her face this time, but her entire body

"Ma'am, the bleeding is too severe. Should we go to the hospital?" the assistant inquired, noting how hard Lilith was trying to stop the bleeding, but no matter what she did, it would not stop.

"Shut up and do what you are told," Lilith reprimanded the young girl, and she immediately stopped speaking while continuing to assist her inside her office.

Once Lilith was certain that the bleeding had stopped, she attempted to apply an ointment and a bandage to conceal the cut from the public's view.

"Do not take any appointments without consulting me," she warned, and the girl agreed.

"Now go get me some ice," she said, and the girl hurriedly left the office.
