Chapter 114: I'll be careful

Ella shot her head at Stefan as the car squeaked in front of the hospital building and yelled, "I told you there was no need to follow her, but you will not listen."

Stefan ducked his head to watch Lilith enter the building normally, ignoring Ella's tirade. If he was correct, Lilith should have been alerting the person to her arrival since he had observed her chatting with someone on her phone when they were inside the elevator.

Stefan averted his gaze from the figure and was about to look up at Ella when an idea struck his mind.

He grinned triumphantly right away and unfastened his seatbelt without delay.

"Just stay here; I will be right back," Stefan said, and he hurried into the building without waiting for Ella's response.

Ella continued to watch the entrance where Stefan entered, and fifteen minutes later, he left the building and got into his car.

"Could you please explain what is going on?" Unaware of his peculiar actions, Ella asked.
